Literally all they have to do is make different colors of red weapon or green weapon like cmon man
swap the mythic and pvp set colors and give us a thick black and red enchant

Ohh man it’s trash. S1 black enchant is better. S2 chant is using the enchant model of the new weapon enchants from covenants where it kind of just flows from the hilt.

I do want to point out for those looking at it on Wowhead, in-game it is MUCH more pronounced. You can hop on the PTR, click under Links on Wowhead to get an in-game link.
It is rather similar to Sinful Flame in the sense that it really overtakes the natural appearance of the weapon. I think it can look good, but only on certain weapons.
This isn’t a customer support line for rets that reroll boomkin and moan in Ashran. Download the PTR yourself if you wanna play with it.
This isn’t a mining-pick-shows-enchants-poorly issue anyway; the pick shows enchants better than most weapons, as the “center” of the enchant is fixed below the head of the pick; it has 3 points where it generates particles instead of the usual 2 with most enchants, so with traditional enchants it makes them look stronger, not weaker; dreadflame for example is massive on mining picks. It’s a triangle of contact points instead of a line.
This is like the new covenant enchants that originate at the hilt, which means it actually faces backwards on half the weapons in the game, particularly with most spears and polearms. It’s gonna look worse on most things, not better.
no it isn’t, its more understated than most of the covenant enchants lol. I have to assume it’s unfinished, because the current texture looks more like a shader that has its alpha levels wrong (the black bits should be shading) than a modern texture.
Go compare it to Unbreakable Resolve for an example of what a modern enchants textures should look like.
Ok so we went from “big glow” to “the whole weapon model glowing” to this wandering slime abomination… Great.
Didn’t have to reroll anything, I’ve had a boomkin since legion when I played 10 different classes for xmogs. But yeah, eventually the game gets boring playing exclusively Ret and Hunter.
And Ashran with crappy players sucks, especially since that map is already annoying.
