A entire race which was formerly Night Elves in the form of Nightborne decided to switch to Horde because Tyrande didn’t trust them after they abandoned Tyrande and her Night Elves to the mercy of the Legion and kept themselves safe in their bubble.
TL DR: Tyrande was a meanie and I should go Horde who are more supportive of my addiction.
Just a reason Blizzard cooked to give Nightborne to the Horde.

I barely play any of the AR. I most certainly will never unlock trash gnomes. They’re an affront to real Mechagnomes.
I stopped caring about AR, honestly. Haven’t unlocked any of the Horde ones in BfA and don’t plan to.

Nope. I wanted a full robot Gnome like Mimiron, not a Borg. I can’t see myself ever leveling a Mechagnome for metal legs when I already have a max level Gnome Hunter.
Some of these so-called AR should’ve just been cosmetic options. They offer little to nothing new outside of alternate racials.

Imagine being a motel owner that rents a room out to a mechagnome. Sometime late during the night you start getting complaints about all the vigorous squeaking noises coming from that room. In the morning all you find is empty cans of WD-40 and sheets that are a modern art visage of rust streaks.

Because if they didn’t force everyone to see their robot parts, they’d basically be gnomes with goggles on. No different than a regular gnome.
They had to do something to try and convince everyone they’re a new and original race, when they’re really just a rehash that literally no one wanted

Definitely! Mechagnome DK will turn the creepy level up to 11. Kind of like those half-dead cyborgs from Wildstar, the Mordesh.

I love my gnomes… But the lack of customisation options in regards to tmog on rustgnomes kills it for me 
If the limbs bother you, they don’t actually look too bad in robes.
If they ever add Tinkers, I’ll absolutely make mine a roboy.
As of now, I’ll only roll one if I really want another Alliance toon.
I plan on making a Hunter Mechagnome for sure, with Engineering to fulfill my tinker fantasy, and maybe reroll my Warrior as a Mechagnome, just because I like their design so much.
