Running Stockades cross realm is a crime, but doing 2's arena is not

No, you made it pretty clear you’re a firm believer that if you can play w/o RDF< than regardless of circumstances, everyone should also be able to play. Super narrow-minded person if you ask me.

So you first said RDF is not needed because it’s too easy.
Then you said RDF Is good for challenges
Then you said RDF Is bad for challenging stuff?

So which is it?
RDF is good for easy or hard content? Make up your mind.

I think it be cool to see Joyous Journeys on like the first weekend of every month. I’m sure the community could put together all sorts of events with something static like that. A monthy speed run competition or just having a set weekend where you can grind up a few alts.

See now that’s what I’m talking about. Most of the debates are just it has to be RDF or no RDF. How about something DIFFERENT.

Are you really equating my belief in the game design as it is being the superior option as me also wanting to force women to carry pregnancies to term, regardless of the viability of the baby? I think you might be too emotionally close to this issue.

RDF is not needed because its too powerful at what it does.

I never said that

I said from a game design perspective, the presence of RDF means that the dungeons need to be designed that 90% of random players and comps can succeed, therefore, easier content.

And it’s not now?

Yeah, grouping a few lower levels for Stockades and/or Scarlet Monastery is unacceptable. But it’s okay for PvP.

Gotta love these double standards and how oblivious some people are to it.

WotLK heroics were designed with RDF in mind. They thought they undertuned them too much and cranked it up for cata. But it was too late, people already expected RDF heroics to be braindead easy and they nerfed the cata heroics.

Well it’s hard to pin down. People will start the RDF stance as something to do at 80 so they can farm. And then as soon as you say RDF is too good they swap to leveling a level 20 character in deadmines. Being sub 80 and being 80 are two different phases of the game and should be handled differently.

I think RDF for 1-60 or even 1-70 would be beneficial to the leveling players. It’s just not needed for WotLK content.

if you are going to get nitpicky, the OP is correct in his usage. (definition 4 fits):

Definition of crime

1: an illegal act for which someone can be punished by the government
2: a grave offense especially against morality
3: criminal activity
4: something reprehensible, foolish, or disgraceful

It was a low effort post, so I gave it a low effort reply

It’s far easier to level questing so yes people run dungeons because they are fun.

I also don’t understand how you go from someone wanting an actual way to do the dungeons to just putting the gear on a vendor. That’s kind of a stupid jump in logic.

Because I said heroics, and people who are leveling are not doing heroics. There are multiple phases a character goes through in the game.

People run heroics to progress their character. I said if you took away all incentives to run heroics, then the heroic participation would approach close to zero.

do you ever know that us, retailers, tourist, whatever you say us, we make more grinds and things in just 1 phase that you will do in the wotlk’s entire life? without the support from retail players and “tOuRiSt” you will NEVER have wotlk era. RDF is inevitable if u wanna keep the game with good numbers.

I’ll never understand people complaining about literal 0 quest mob competition. thats when questing is at it’s peak for me.

You don’t have to get it. If someone wants to run low lvl dungeons while questing, they should be able to.

Questing is hecka better xp/hour wise, and RDF is not a perma pop up as DPS. I’m just tired playing solo.
It is a single player game right now 10-70.

Nonetheless, the choice should be there.

i’m for rdf, but people complaining about old world being “dead” like its a bad thing confuses me.

Trying to enjoy the MMO part of MMORPG.

plenty of that at max level.

Sure. And that exact mentality is what ruins leveling experience.
God forbid one has fun while leveling.

Not everyone just wants to race to max level. I got a max level toon that I’m raid logging on now.

ah yes, 99 parsing open world quest mob tagging 24/7 is fun.

nah.

questing is way more enjoyable when youre the only one around.

That’s your take on that. Not mine.
if you want to have only 1 option for leveling path - aka questing, so you can stick with that.
Others may want more options than mind numbing questing alone for a week straight.

Some one of us actually want to run dungeons and chat with others.
