So I just turned in the soul ash needed for the Runecarver, and he gave me the quest “The Final Pieces” where you have to obtain the Rune Vessel, the legendary recipe, and 2 different missives. It shows that I’ve turned in the legendary recipes, but it’s not recognizing the rune vessel I have (Shadowghast Greaves) or the two missives I have (Missive of Haste and Missive of Mastery). All are in my bags, but the quest is showing 0/1 and 0/2 respectively. Am I missing something or is this a bug?
Have you actually clicked on the Runecarver and put the items in their respective slots to craft?
Whenever I click the Runecarver, it just goes to the quest turn-in screen with the “Continue” button greyed out. I can’t even get to the slot/configuration screen.

Maybe try mailing them to another char and then back to your main, see if it triggers then. Just an idea, I know I mailed mine but I think I already had the quest at that point.
So mailing them to an alt and then back to myself worked. Now, this is just a bug report to let Blizzard know this happened.

same cant turn in quest it doesnt detect my rune vessel
Im having the same problem… wont let me craft because it doesn’t recognize my memories that ive already obtained…ZzZz. so technically i have to either wait til one drops again or wait til they fix this bug…

Still a bug that needs to be fixed though. Workarounds shouldn’t have to be a thing, but at least we have one for now.
Same issue. Crafted the rune vessel after getting the quest, still not recognized. I’ve tried the mailing trick, listing on AH and canceling & abandoning the quest and nothing has fixed this. It’s incredibly frustrating.

Same for me. Although it is just the rune vessel that the quest is not recognizing. I tried mailing the item to an alt and back to no avail.
I ran into this issue also with the missives. I fixed it by mailing them to an alt, and then sending them back.
Did you make sure to right click the memory in your inventory
still not working for me
I am not getting the memory, it is no where in my inventory. What am I missing?
I’m having this prob right now did you ever fix it?
some thing to note: I thought it was a turn in… took me over 30 minutes to figure out I need to click the memory while targeting the Rune Crafter and that turned it into a VISION and then was able to craft my item. hope this helps
