At the risk of coming off sounding like “ya’ll should be grateful bla bla bla” there are a ton of MMO’s without official forums for this exact reason.
The forums hardly ever have “Wow this is an awesome thing they did” etc. I feel this extends to other blizzard games as well OW2 specifically. (not that those OW2 people were unjustly angry)

This would only be a good idea if the old developers were making it. Otherwise it’s just going to be another retail expansion with Classic looking things.
Too many people lost their toons when Blizz forced players to kill Classic Era on its release by charging $35 (then later it was $15, then $5) to copy their toons to Era. Then unshockingly, most people didn’t copy or buy a copy on Era, and everyone went TBC. No one could have known that over 2 years later Era would have a resurgence. New vanilla content needs to release on a fresh server.
They’ve all moved on/retired and there is nothing Blizz can/will give them that would bring them back.

The only faith I have in them is to maximize the micro transactions and profitability of anything they do going forward. Era was a gift to us. We won’t see another.

How do we trust a company with classic plus that made diablo immortal is still pushing that monetized p2w piece of garbage?
I think they can do Classic + right if they listen to feedback for sure. They have the talent and the already super successful classic ERA to build off of.
I think classic plus is their chance to get back a lot of respect and trust from the warcraft community.
