im surprised some of you guys (from US) are so closed minded and SCARED of playing with some people from diff cultures. Like do you even go outside?do you have friends? from diff cultures? Are you amish or something? why are you so scared of meeting new and different people? Language barrier? you dont have to socialize with every single person you see ingame, even if you do, its like you expect people to have a TOEFL certificate so you can play with them, grow up. Tbh this just smell like racism to me

I wish I known this before launch because now I’m stuck on a server with a major language barrier.

Have yet to find any feijoada-speaking friends in the one I’m in.
It’s the language barrier and you got a lot of bad players in South America that combine with a Barrier you cant teach or fix bad. Ie need a healer/tank and some DPs says they know one and you pass lead and they invite 2 dps of instance minimum or below. Point is can’t fix bad
Its not being xenophobic, racist, or afraid. It’s simply based of experiences with people from Quel Thalas, Ragnaros, Illidian, and Azarlon running M+. Each server has built their own reputation that only they are responsible for creating. Ragnaros are rude and rage quit frequently, Illidian likes to tell you how to do something right (meaning how they would do it, not actually right), Azalron-recently they like to join groups and randomly drop right before you start (no idea), Quel thalas -theyve just been extremely rude in general. It’s not because they’re from a different country or speak a different language, its because they are narcissistic jerks who without polling anyone can say with certainty have ruined many M+ keys.
And a server being worse than another ? That’s lame…thats just as silly and nearly in the same category as you assuming we don’t like someone because their foreign and speak a different language. I live in California…spanish isn’t foreign, I live in the city of Turlock, portuguese is not foreign. Thus, they actually are a part of my community…its just that the ones I live near aren’t a-holes.
I think Sandpaw’s point wasn’t quite understood. If I told you that all air traffic control is conducted only in English, an this is true…
Sandpaw was just saying…thats not our fault…the world decided that.
I mean there’s a reason why many schools all through out the world teach children English…again…not our fault. It’s just how it is.
