Anyone know if it’s ok to queue for other stuff while you’re waiting for RSS?
For example, can I chain queue for skirmishes while I’m waiting?
Or does that push back my RSS queue pop because the system is like… I know the RSS Time In Queue says 45 minutes, but you’ve actually only waited 10 minutes because you spent 35 minutes in skirmishes.
You are extending out the time you wait in queue by doing other activities. When the system is ready to pull your class/spec for a specific matchup near your rating and you aren’t available, it moves on to the next person in line and doesn’t wait for you.
If you miss this window I assume it will put you back into the “front of the line” for your spec again, but it still takes some time to match all the variables that make the queues pop. You are further increasing the odds of missing it again everytime you are in a bg/skrim. This is why some people claim they always wait 60-90 minutes when the actual queue is only 20-30mins.

I stopped doing anything else around the 40 minute mark. I ended up getting into a game around 1 hour for Time in Queue.
mine is always 0 average wait time so.
I almost never queue for anything else if I’m in shuffle queue. I don’t trust that it won’t bug out and just leave me in limbo for eternity.

Yep. I’m fortunate where I can just work while sitting in queue though. I have in the past tried to sit in shuffle queue while also doing bg’s and stuff but a few times the queue just never would pop.
