Basically just trying to get an idea of where the majority of RPers plan on going for Classic, sorry if there’s already a thread or two about this, but I hadn’t come across one real collective post within my last half hour search?
Anyway, I’m unsure of whether to roll on Grob or Bloodsail, so I want to see what everyone else who plans to RP is thinking! Just comment below with what you plan to do. Gonna stay on the straight RP realm, or the RP-PVP?
Grob for me.
Its not classic WoW without PvP.
I like to RP out in the world and that’s too easily disrupted on RP-PvP servers, so it’s Bloodsail for me.
Though I don’t imagine I’ll actually be RPing all that much in Classic.
I plan on chilling in bloodsail, I’ve gotten my fill of pvp
if you want more blood go grob if you want more peace and snuggles go bloodsail, i’d say to check out the discord for both.

I shall be rolling on bloodsail. It all depends on if you want to deal with pvp or not.
I’ll be starting in Grobby. I might switch to RP-PvE later depending on how the community ends up being. Or, maybe just have a super casual alt on an RP-PvE server. Would really like to stay on Grobby!
I will be rolling on Bloodsail, both to RP and to say “I told you so” when all the selfish non-RPers flood in and drive RP into the shadows (won’t go under nearly as fast as Grobbulus though, their invaders reasons will be selfish and malicious)

Probably a repeat of everything that happened in the early days of current RP realms when people tried to maliciously destroy them.

Gotta go BB so I can RP both Horde and Alliance. Since, as of now, there’s only one RP-PVP realm, and you can’t have both factions on it, there’s only one way to go. IF a second RP-PVP realm is added, I’ll have Allies on one and Hordies on another.
Doesn’t seem like RPers have a choice, theres only 1 realm to go to if you like full rp or rp with pvp.
Reality? Have you never been to an RP server in pretty much any MMO?
80% of the population are “came fer da comunitee!” (or the free kills in the case of RP-PvP) people that have no intention of RPing. RP is pretty much relegated to guilds specifically for it. Hell it seems that Asmongold and Soda"reeee Warglaives"poppin will be rolling on Grobbulus.
Me and my guildies will be on Bloodsail Buccaneers. We prefer not to be pvp-harassed while we RP or when levelling.
If you’re still undecided, have a look at the new and growing recruitment threads for both RP servers and see what takes your fancy.
I hope so. They might actually cross the line with a move like that, and force Blizzard to reign in their badly-behaved human advertisements. It’s a sacrifice, to be sure.
Kudos to all of you dedicated RPers recognizing that Grob isn’t the place to be if you don’t want to get ganked. Roleplay is a lot more than text conventions, and everyone who recognizes that has my respect.
Rp-pvp. As it offers the most immersion into the wow universe and illustrates the two-faction war the best, each side having its own villains and heroes based on player action.
I am happy there will be RP-PvP realms for Classic.
