[RP-WPvP] EVENT: Assault on the Alliance heathens!

yeah i mean like i get the idea behind it and lowkey i do think it’s better than being able to just level endurance (i think that’s what the stat was?) in ds1 to increase a bunch of vital stats, but also, i hated it

Blizzard is in on the deal :scream:

In all seriousness though, Kattani went REAL quiet after that was brought up xD

I understand that this is a public forum, but I just want to make sure: Do you mind if I advertise this in my guild discord, as an event they may wish to attend?

Yes you may! Of course that would be greatly appreciated! I look forward to seeing y’all there))

So I have seen a lot of drama on this thread and others like it so I thought I might weigh in for everyone to read, give a like and then shortly forget it all because no one really cares.

A lot of people get upset over threads like this for many reasons but one of the biggest lies I see to counter any of these reasons is “if you don’t like it, don’t participate”, this will never be true for many reasons but I think the biggest one is the amount of lag large scale pvp event cause cities/servers that is just unavoidable. This is no ones fault really other then Blizzard and if WM had taught me anything about Blizzard, its that they care less about WPVP then probably any other aspect of the game. The spam is another problem that is going to happen. You cant control people, you can tell them not to do this, they are going to do it, both sides .

Another point (which I have been thinking about making a thread on) is the population issue thats been hitting WrA pretty hard over the past year. Alliance on this server do not have the numbers to do…anything. If it were not for MG our WM phase would be a complete 180 that we see it how it is now out in the world. WrA as far as I am sure is the only Horde dominated RP server so any actual “fighting” that happens is going to boil down to 90% AFK low level RPers kills and 10% a small group of MAYBE 10 that by the time they form the Horde most likely ported away.

This is all to say that players do not have the right to raid a city, but on the flip side of that you are going to have people unhappy. Any large scale event I see /Defense is SPAMMED with “do not engage them, do not engage them, do not engage them.”. Blah blah blah no ones probably reading this far. In conclusion, players have ever right to raid cities however you are going to see players upset. Even without Blizzards blunders, the community finds ways on its own to always make these not fun with “I HAVE TO WIN” attitudes that all together dont help RP on both sides.

Hi there, Ravenhul! I threw your event up on the event calendar. If you want to check that out it is here: :bookmark: [Bookmark] Roleplay Event Calendar

Good luck with your event!

If you’re doing it in character then I better not see you exit the game to avoid death which is your trademark.

Logging off as soon as he starts losing IS in-character: he roleplays as a person playing a video game who happens to be a sore loser.

((I think it would have been fun to see RP/IC posts from Horde people who like what Ravenhul wants to do but are headesking over how he goes about it – “NO, NO, NOT THIS PUBLIC!” And try to get him to be more subtle about spreading his message to other parts of Horde territory. Add in some Horde trying to hunt him down to stop it and you could have Hilarity Ensue as Ravenhul’s supporters play “pali, pali, who’s got the pali?” to keep him safe.

Meant to post this considerably earlier, but life got grey.)
