I remember city raids back in Vanilla were some of the things that got even non-RPers to engage with the RP-PvP community.
Maelstrom had a medium-sized RP-PvP community on the Alliance side and we’d often do activities or fight together, but sometimes we’d get some of the WPvP leaders to organize city attacks and we’d mix in with Joe Schmoe PvPer and it was actually a great way to get folks into RP-PvP.
Blizzard, please give us an RP-PvP server for NA on Day 1.

What if Blizzards sees all the people wanting an RPPVP server and then purposely add one after a few months so that we all feel inclined to transfer and turn a profit

There is a higher change of them doing this Scrib. IF we don’t get one at the start I hope they do add one later on. I will start a new toon on there or if they allow, transfer my alliance character over there.

On Emerald Dream we had city raids with one or multiple guilds as well as defending the city during WoD and Legion. I am sorry I missed the earlier expansions on that server (I left at the end of BC).
Skirmishes always occurred as well between rival faction guilds on each other’s hit lists. I did play on a PvP server prior to leaving and I saw these WPvP battles but the RP factor I think will elevate the PvP into us v. them. It was still very strong on ED.
It was weird killing Horde for the first time but then maybe I was lucky I was in CBH. If they come back I could be tempted the that faction but we need a RPPvP server to get this. I tapped out with Warmode as I am fine with PvE and RP servers (played both) but the homogenization of all servers was the end for me.

Yeah, if they don’t add RPPvP on day 1 it will ruin my plans for WoW… I don’t really want to spend money on a game, especially when I live in a poor country and things haven’t been getting better for my family, so if they add RPPvP later and only sell transfers, I won’t transfer at all (especially when they cost so much where I live).
I guess I’ll stop playing the game at all before even reaching level 25 in that scenario ):
Please give us RP-PvP on day 1 Blizz!

I’m chomping at the bit for an RP-PVP server. It would be the icing on the classic WoW cake for me. Not the cheap stuff either, I’m talking vanilla buttercream icing homemade by Blizzard, just like they used to make.

Agreed. This is why they rolled out of the first RP-PvP servers CST if I remember correctly.

You do. And they continued it. Of the 6 RP-PVP servers, the first 4 were CST, and the last two were coastal. Venture Co on PST, and Ravenholdt on EST.
