I was reading on the XPOFF twink website that they recommend rppvp servers to Classic twinks as the residents will be easier to kill. I think they called the hk fodder or something to that effect.

There has been silence from the Overlords. We hope they know what needs to be done. Nothing we can do to change it now.
Give us RP-PvP and everyone will be happy. Don’t and most people will be sad. We’ll take over one or two of their realms for our own selfish desires. Don’t make us do that, no one wants to do that. Just give us a home and we won’t bother anyone but each other.

You want to play on a PVP server, but aren’t into RP. Why would you want to play on a RP-PVP server?
Because we are going into 2020… an election year… and general/zone/trade/lfg RP rules are a bit more restrictive on ‘out of game’ talk.
It’s crap like this that makes me dislike Blizzard sometimes. A straight yes or no answer is all that’s needed. And honestly, there’s no excuse not to have an rp-pvp server.

No, it isn’t more restrictive. Only character names are more restrictive.
Non-RPers should stick to a non-RP server instead of watering down our population.

I think I’ve finally figured out my classes and races, my character names, and my RP backgrounds. 100% ready (well maybe 99% ready) to commit to RP-PVP. Fingers crossed!

Ive been around a while and I would be utterly shocked if there isnt at least 1 rp pvp server on the NA region. Im only slightly worried. Even with all thats been said so far.

I’ve been checking through some of the WoW groups/discords I’m involved in. All of the RP-PVP groups are stuck at a “we can’t plan much further until we know if there will be RP-PVP servers” state. This isn’t the same as “we don’t know what the name of the server is yet” angst that other people have. This is a fundamental schism where players and groups will need to choose either to go PVP or RP-PVE. Some of these players will leave their groups to go to their preferred realm type, and some will be stuck with a realm type they don’t enjoy just to be with their guild/friends.
Let us yank that band-aid, if we have to. The silence is awful customer service.
((For the people who keep poking their noses in and saying that the decision was already made, a flippant comment in an interview 3 months ago is NOT how a professional company the size of Blizzard should announce important information about their game. RP-PVP servers were there during the target patch version, even if they weren’t there at the beginning of everything. NOTHING in their official propaganda says anything that would lead people to think that RP-PVP servers won’t be there.
Even if that announcement was sufficient notification, there are plenty of examples of where other players have made sufficient arguments and petitions and changed the powers-that-be’s minds. )).
