New to RP on Grobbulus, or looking to get involved? This thread is for you. If you are a guild leader or officer, you may also fill in a survey to be included. You don’t need to be an RP-heavy or RP-only guild to apply, so long as you have a dedicated RP section with regular activities.
Other than that, if you’re interested in connecting with other roleplayers, finding roleplay, networking, or being kept up to date about upcoming roleplay events, you may join the Alliance RP Discord and the in-game OOC RP Channel /join RP. Simply ask in there for a link.

Beholder (RP, PvP, Social/Leveling, Casual Raiding)
Guild Description: Beholder is an all race, class, level guild designed as a social RP and PvP focused group. We intend on grinding all aspects of TBC classic and are looking for friendly faces to join the fun!
RP Backstory: We are a mercenary organization filled with people from all aspects of life, from knights and soldiers to thieves and spies. We seek out information and wealth for interested parties. Our allegiance is to our brothers and sisters and to the highest bidder on the contract. Beholder is a place for the misfits of Azeroth to make a place for themselves and earn some coin in the process.
RP Activities: We operate as free agents for casual RP as a freelancer type organization, host organized RP events, assist outside RP stories to assist with plots as informants and otherwise, and organize RP-PvP events with allied RP factions.

Band of the Bear (RP, Casual Raiding, Social/Leveling)
Guild Description: Band of the Bear is an RP guild founded by players from the retail guild “The Vigilants of Proudmoore” on Emerald Dream. We will also raid casually and are friendly to non-meta builds and compositions.
RP Backstory: The Band of the Bear is an Alliance mercenary company founded by veterans of the Third War, disillusioned by the escalating tensions between the great powers of Azeroth and the simmering corruptions within. Each for their own reasons, the members of the Band cooperate under the leadership of its Captain, Plutan Nighthoven, to fill contracts for influential clients in the Alliance.
Despite its leadership by an Elven Druid, the Band is organized after the fashion of the mercenary companies of the Eastern Kingdoms, according to the design of the notorious rogue Kangthax.
Recently, the Band of the Bear has taken a highly lucrative contract from Vereesa Windrunner to find and rescue her sister, the fabled Alleria Windrunner, from the harsh and mysterious realm of Outland.
RP Activities: We will have weekly RP events that will play out a grand campaign across Outland.

Cirque du Mystique (RP, Social/Casual)
Guild Description: Cirque du Mystique is a group of circus performers traveling around Azeroth and bringing smiles to people’s faces.
RP Backstory: Veikko and Unawyn had met many years ago when a troupe came through and played for the druid’s small village. Now they’ve reunited all this time later and have decided to create a new circus for the modern day.
RP Activities: Performances and busking with any circus type act you can think of. We also have fortune tellers and dancing bears! If you aren’t looking to perform we also have slots for security, medics, costume tailors and anything else you can think of that fits the theme!

Clan Battlehammer (RP, PvP, Social)
Guild Description: Clan Battlehammer is a casual dwarf RP-PVP guild focused on honorable world PVP since TBC was retail.
RP Backstory: Bruenor Battlehammer was King of Clan Battlehammer and Mithril Hall in a faraway land. He and a few stout and hearty clansmen found themselves in Azeroth with no way to return. He and his kin began exploring these new lands in search of a new home. During their search, Clan Battlehammer stumbled upon the dwarven settlements of Azeroth, and many newfound kin rallied to King Bruenor’s banner and swore allegiance.
While supporting and allying with the dwarven clans of Azeroth, King Bruenor did not want to interfere with the long-standing leaders vying for leadership of Ironforge, nor did he wish to usurp their claims or territories. Instead, the dwarves of Clan Battlehammer discovered a new potential home, as close to their glorious Mithril Hall as they could find… Blackrock Mountain. King Bruenor and his Hammers work to liberate Blackrock Mountain’s mines and forges from it’s evil inhabitants and restore the Battlehammer throne.
RP Activities: Marches and world PVP to defend our mountain. Occasional stops at a tavern before battle. All Battlehammers are required to be in character when they /say or /yell.

Cult of Kthaal (RP, Social/Casual)
Guild Description: We are a new, Void-themed guild just getting our footing. If you like being spooky and morally questionable while enjoying the companionship of some really nice and awesome people, consider selling your soul to our Lord K’thaal!
RP Backstory: The Void Lord K’thaal, unable to interact directly with the physical plane himself, has sent out the Shadow Druid Lantana to gather those looking for power, hidden knowledge, or family to call their own. He offers a piece of his power in exchange for their unwavering service.
RP Activities: Spooky cult shenanigans! Our events will range from casual social events such as parties and mysterious parades to more hardcore storyline RP events with D&D-like battle systems. Members are free to participate in what they think sounds fun without obligation.
How to Join: If interested (or simply curious), direct questions to MoonPotadoh#8157, through Discord or in game! You need only be willing to pledge your character’s soul to K’thaal, and follow our rules about mutual respect and care.
Dwarven Overlords (RP, PvP, Raiding, Social/Leveling)
Guild Description: We are Grobbulus’ Warhamer Fantasy themed dwarf-only RP/WPvP/PvE guild, an eight year old community that strives to enjoy all aspects of the game. While most of our activities cater to players interested in a mix of RPPvP events and casual PvE raids, the ideal type of individual for us are those looking to invest in a community-driven network of players and sincerely enjoy the game to its fullest. Players of all skill levels, interests, and activity levels are welcome to join.
RP Backstory: Dwarven Overlords is a conglomeration of the many scattered dwarven clans throughout Khaz Modan. Originally a union between the remnants of the Bryngrungul and Grimazulkarin clans following the Second War, many others have sworn their loyalty to the organization since it’s founding, and have dedicated themselves to restoring the dwarven realms to their former glory and seeking vengeance against those who have wronged its people throughout the ages.
RP Activities: Weekly RPPvP events including our Reading of Grudges and thematic WPvP. Occasional tavern nights and other member driven events.
How to Join: To join, whisper any online member in-game or Kadol#5396 and Ezum#4238 through Discord. Dwarves only!
League of Lowbies (Light RP, Leveling, Social/Casual)
Guild Description: The League of Lowbies is an alliance guild focused on helping adventurers with the knowledge, resources, and assistance needed to reach their 70th season and become heroes. We are a non-toxic, non-profit leveling guild focused on helping the community.
RP Backstory: Our mission is in service to our community and to the Light. The League of Lowbies is for the training of adventurers only, heroes need not apply. In fact, once you reach your 58th season or so, you are highly encouraged to start looking for an epic-level guild to transfer to.
RP Activities: We host two public events per month: Escape from Elf-catraz Island (soon to become Escape from Blueberry Island), and another charitable event that varies from month to month.

Moonblade Sentinels (RP, PvP, Raiding, Leveling)
Guild Description: Moonblade Sentinels is an all Night Elf guild focused on all the fun and casual aspects of wow. We have active events, rp, pvp, and we plan on raiding with just Night Elves come TBC.
RP Backstory: We defend Astranaar and Ashenvale from the Horde, and plan to make our mark in this Alliance by standing firm with our ground.
RP Activities: Casual RP, Organized Events, /roll events, RP-PvP.
How to Join: Whisper Arquen, Mayana, Casp, or Moorvayne in-game. Night elves only!
Obsidian Sun Company (RP, PvP, Raiding, Social/Leveling)
Guild Description: We are a Privateering and Trading Company modeled after 18th century companies such as the Dutch East India Trading Company.
RP Backstory: We are Privateers, soldiers, sailors, tradesmen, craftsmen, blacksmiths, engineers, logistics specialists, that have all come together to form one of the largest companies in the world to help assist the Alliance in it’s mission to defend it’s people and facilitate a healthy economy through protecting it’s trade routes.
RP Activities: We host three different styles of tavern night each week in different locations, we have weekly RP-PVP events, and usually some type of unique RP storyline event at least once a month.
The concept of our guild is broad enough to incorporate many different styles and alignments of RP. We see ourselves as a neutral platform for everyone.

The Cenarion Circle (RP, PvP, Social/Leveling)
Guild Description: A social/leveling/roleplaying guild centered around The Cenarion Circle!
RP Backstory: We seek to protect and preserve the balance of nature across Azeroth.
RP Activities: Overarching campaigns set to match the content released as well as various social (IC & OOC) events designed to foster a close community!
How to Join: Contact Galadhir in-game! All we ask of members is that they are polite, respectful and understanding.
The Stormwind Guard (RP, Social/Leveling)
Guild Description: Protect the streets of Stormwind! Go on patrol in the city itself, and the surrounding areas!
RP Backstory: We police the streets and enforce the laws. Stand up for injustice and put criminals in the stockades!
RP Activities: Walking around Stormwind, attending other events as security, taking statements from citizens, and serving arrest warrants.

Thunderhold (RP, PvP, Social/Leveling)
Guild Description: Thunderhold is a casual guild that concentrates on RP-PvP. It’s a place where Dwarf kin are welcome. We have multiple RP events a week and there are various factions to join for RP.
RP Backstory: Thunderhold is led by High Thane Ukanler Stormbreaker who has been tasked by Magni with securing outposts in various locations. We are presently moving operations from Kalimdor back to the Eastern Kingdoms were we will explore the mysterious Dark Portal and the lands beyond. The factions include The Silver Hammers, The Anvilworks, The Rangers and the Hidden. All four factions work towards the good of Ironforge, be it close to home or far afield.
RP Activities: In addition to faction meetings there will be weekly bar nights, horde hunting and exploration that happens in character. There are also RP mission to improve ones standing within their faction.
How to Join: Contact Aldrelas, Laphroig, Baelagar, or Furagrum in-game. Feel free to contact any member for more information. If they cannot answer your questions they will direct you to an officer. Thunderhold is an all dwarven guild.
Stronghold (RP, PvP, Raiding)
Guild Description: Stronghold is a Grobbulan collective that formed during Classic WoW. We enjoy both PvP and semi-hardcore PvE content. We specialize in wPvP, but also plan to do arena and bg content in TBC. Our RP presence has been mostly through the event planners in our guild that participate in the server RP planning committee. We are launching a dedicated RP section for TBC.
RP Backstory: We are the veterans of the HMS Hurricane who were beached on shore after a betrayal of leadership. Since then, we have developed into a martial order based on democracy. Facing the enemies of the Alliance wherever they are, we assert ourselves as an independent order of protectors who prioritize honor and loyalty above all.
RP Activities: We are developing a guild RP storyline with a player-controlled antagonist, as well as various side events. There will also be a focus on RP-PvP in the world with a guild base of Dun Garok and eventually Allerian Stronghold in TBC.
