Hello all.
I was wondering if there’s some kind of simulation tool that would let me try out different combinations of talents and rotations for BC characters. I’ve been trying to use Excel but that’s getting tedious and I feel like I’m probably missing a lot (I end up making assumptions and simplifying and generalizing to the point where I’m not sure any of it is accurate anymore).
I took a peek at SimulationCraft but it looks like that’s for retail.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Not sure if it’s exactly what you’re after, but every class discord is going to have spredsheet based sims already built. Maybe those can help you.
Other than that there is just testing it yourself in some 5 man dungeons/raids. No matter the sim, it’ll never be truly accurate, the best data will come from playing it yourself.
That makes sense. I’m mostly looking ahead at the mage I’m leveling, and tinkering with ideas while away from the game (I have stretches of time at work while stuff compiles). I’ll check out Discord, I don’t use it much but it seems like that’s the way direction things are moving.
Thanks!
