Barbershop method worked and allow me to complete the quest and continue on with the main questline.

Also DF quests when you are 60-69 incorrectly labeled level 70 when in fact they are not
and the equipment rewards are both scaled to your level and full available to complete and equip after completion !!

I just tried to customize on my main (70) and it let me go through the whole thing, hit ‘accept’, mount reverts back to previous visage. Tried again with all mods off, same. When I leave there’s a message on the screen that says ‘you must be sitting in a barber chair’.

I’m sorry, but my mount won’t fit in the barber’s chair.

Changing mounts doesn’t work. If they’re going to make a silly change like this, move the quest to to a level 70+ level Quest. Either way, waiting until level 70 to to make any changes would be a serious downer. Sheesh. Just IMHO.

Jumping on to confirm that all my 60’s are experiencing the same issue, but that visiting the BARBERSHOP completes the quest and is letting them move on. So thank goodness for weird bugs that help you get past bad bugs…

This was the solution as a workaround.

I also noticed that world quests are only giving level 70 gear as well.

I was trying to level this character and ran into this issue. I’ll try the barber trick later. Evokers don’t have the dragon riding tree unlocked like all of my other alts so I’m stuck with 3 vigor that charges very slowly and was hoping doing these quests would enable it.

edit: going to the barber allowed me to finish the quest and the one after it allowed me to spend the dragon glyph points. i still do not have the large dragon circle on the minimap to open the dragonriding frame/reknown menu though.

I think this glitch occurred when they made the city portals to Valdarkken require you be level 70?

Just ran into the same issue leveling up an alt. Can’t continue the campaign in Waking Shores now.

The barbershop solved it for me! Thank you!!! Never played Dragonflight resubbed the first time in like 10 years, so this bug was really upsetting.

no make sense to reach lvl 70 you must to complete the story and in the story force you to be lvl 70 before you completed, fixed and hopefuly we didn’t find more quest like this

a week later and still not fixed. I guess its a Feature instead of a bug …thanks for making this post so people can actually finish the storyline …

This is happening to me as well. I put in a ticket and got an automated replay. Put the ticket in again saying I did all you said to try before putting in the ticket. That was days ago and I still don’t have a reply. I just found this thread, so at least I know it’s not just me. Hopefully, today’s maintenance will fix it…? Crosses Fingers
