Rolling a shaman

I’m wanting to roll a shaman for heals and ranged dps and make leatherwork transmogs for my evoker and shaman my only question is what race to choose, it’s a trivial matter I know but it’s one I can’t decide on. So opinions are welcomed.

No, I won’t be rolling a female character

Elemental is fun, you are granted sith powers.

Tauren shaman always felt like the most “one with nature” shaman.

Dwarves are easy to find a fun name. :+1:

Such as Cinderthresh or Blazebash for a Dark iron.

Dark iron dwarf if you’re going to be male.

For Alliance go Dark Iron Dwarf, their racials are amazing for Shaman and they have awesome heritage armour. ( Though Ironforge Dwarves have a slight edge on PvE)

For Horde, It’s Orc (Also note the awesome hertiage armour) or Darkspear Troll (Beserking). I have heard Zandalari aren’t too bad as Shamans as well.

Dwarves (not DI) are actually the best race DPS wise for Shaman for Alliance, and Orc for Horde. Now purely aesthetically, I’d go with Kul Tiran and play him like a Tide Sage. Horde is still Orc.

Healing is a chore…but…you’ll get invites to keys quickly …trade off, i guess

I have a Kul Tiran Shaman, he’s a fun healer, with the punch and everything.

For Horde I’d say Tauren (though Goblins are always fun).

For Alliance I’d say Dwarf.

Dark Iron Dwarves have the best totems and heritage armor.

I thought the BB dwarves were better in all formats. No?

Is it? I’ve heard Rshamans were in a very good spot and was considering trying one.
