You guys screwed up MASSIVELY. With Valor AND Conquest. A complete rollback is the only thing that will fix this. Forget about the work any of you have put in the past day. The entirety of P1 is screwed if Blizzard does not fix this. I am not convinced they will track down everyone who abused these bugs.

Who cares? did this bug effect your ability to play the game? I’d rather not have the valor I worked for, wiped because of the actions of someone else.
Same thing keeps happening… At this point I’d say that’s just part of the design.
Blizzard rarely rolls stuff back, I mean at least P2 will be better right? When Raid gear starts flowing in a lot with PvP stuff at least then you don’t have people fully kited out in arena gear day one.
I have to remember this after taco tuesday at taco bell.

I wouldn’t be so certain on that. Maybe in the past, but recently they’ve been very willing to roll players back and/or punishing players for participating in them. There have been a few cases recently for this. With P3 release in SoD, there was a bug that allowed warlocks to infinitely farm these fel scars when they were supposed to be one time uses per person. The characters who abused it were rolled back and banned up to two weeks based on the severity of the abuse. The other week in MoP remix, they rolled back the cloaks of all the players that participated in the frog farming exploit for charms and bronze. There have been a few other small cases where they’ve rolled people back, but these two in particular just prove that they can roll people back and will do so at a moments notice.
My hope is that they wait till raids open on Thursday to roll the players back that exploited. I would sit back and laugh with a bucket of popcorn as the tears ensued

I mean, Guzu raided with someone that didn’t have it rolled back and he soloed the entire raiding scene in MoP remix, so they didn’t roll back everyone. As for the warlocks in SoD, they allowed people to keep any gold they made from the bags. So they might have taken any bags no opened away but if they opened them and put the stuff on the auction house they kept that gold. StaySafe was talking about it on his stream. And those were for the big abusers, the small time ones didn’t even get touched.
Realistically they should atleast correct the conquest problem. A real simple script can be run to remove all conquest gear anyone has bought, no one had enough legitimate conquest to buy a single piece before the vendors were removed anyway. Just reset conquest and run a script to remove conquest from every player before the server restart that they add the vendors back.
My enjoyment of the game is not based on other people’s progress, legitimate or otherwise. It’s not that big of a deal.
Yea, this right here. So they abused it. It does not effect me at all. Well, in the sense that they are hindering my ability to honor gear so I can push arena… But just wait a few days. Im not losing sleep over this. Yes the effed up, yes they will fix it. But just move along and enjoy something else for now.
sure in the mentality of pve and valor items. Having a gear disadvantage in competitive pvp directly effects players. Even more so when the advantage was gained illegitimately.
The players that are pushing for 2200 for 372 weapons next week already have full bloodthirsty such as myself. That 2200 push just became a whole lot harder if you are fighting a team of players each with 500 more resil, 300 more spellpower, and 15k more health.

Yes? People are now going to queue into arena/RBGs with a massive unearned advantage. How do you not realize this. In the case of PvP, this MASSIVELY affects everyone’s ability to play the game.
I don’t care about the Valor, but the Conquest mistake literally kills the arena/rbg season.
It’s hit or miss on the gold removal. Similar to when you get temporarily suspended for gold buying. Sometimes they dont remove the gold off your account for whatever reason. Some warlocks got away with not losing anything, but there were also warlocks that lost everything lol case by case scenario. It proves though that they’ve rolled people back and that they’ll do it again. They have the technology to easily detect what character does ________, its just a matter of them going through with it.
Exploit early and often. It’s the new Blizzard way.
