Regardless of who is at fault, players actively knew it wasn’t correct and engaged in it anyway. It’s 100% bannable. At least it would be in 2009s Blizzard. Today’s blizzard may not want to risk losing subs over it.

A select few people got lottery tickets on a young realm which will eventually have some impact on the economy. Its unfortunate and quite unreal how inept this mishap was by Blizz

- Wow does not care about how the players feel or care what customers feel.
- Wow is heading to be a play to win company.
- Wow is not the same game of 20 years ago it was and never will be again, please understand that and just deal with it.
- Wow or (microsoft) does not give a crap, they know everyone even me, always want their Wow crack feeling, and no matter what they do or screw up they know nobody is going anywhere because of that.

I agree with everything but point 3 and 5:
Wow will never be free to play, they pay their 5 interns with those subs!
People are quitting all the time and for less than this, it’s the reason there are no longer 13 million players. Wow has a ton of veteran players and only a handful of new players, every time a veteran player throws in the towel wow gets one step closer to being dead.

There has already been a blue post saying the servers don’t work this way. There is no rollback feature.

If YET AGAIN nothing happens to these blatant exploiters who reaped tons of gold, I’m done bothering following any ToS in this game and will just do whatever I want. Clearly, there are no consequences for game ruining exploitation.
They KNEW what they were doing, hence they KNEW they could make a big profit by exploiting the bug. Everything about their actions was in full knowledge they were exploiting a bug for gold. There was no confusion at all. No one “wasn’t sure”. It is the most blatant example of a bug exploit one can ask for.

Maybe the interns at Blizzard need to get with the people who run private servers to see how it’s done.
I was buying reagents in AV and saw the chronoboon in there for cheap. Just figured they lowered the price. Bought a bunch for guildies and stuff. Sucks but not everyone was being malicious.
Roll backs aren’t a thing in wow anymore. Damage is done, take it or leave it. Atleast we didn’t get item dupes like Diablo has.
Reselling is the exploit.

They 100% will not roll back this late. People have been progressing in AV all morning.
A roll back would unfairly punish thousands of innocent people, making the situation way worse than it already is for Blizzard.
They SHOULD have rolled back within the first few hours of this debacle. But now? Virtually no chance.
Scammers win. Legit players lose.

Did you miss every time they rolled back on retail over the years? It’s entirely possible, but with this situation, they won’t.
people complianing yet boons are still only 2g, buy them up if you’re so sure blizzard isn’t doing anything and take the risk/chance, stop blaming people who took the risk/chance and it benefitted them if you can still x3 your money right now.
