From what I hear, more than half of the realm has bought boons… if they ban or suspend those players, they would lose A TON of people. I doubt they will do that.
Yeah most likely blizzard is just gonna track down every sod item on these realms and remove them and perhaps temp ban depending on how far the account owner has taken it. If you’ve taken something clearly exploitable and intentionally ruining the economy, yes they’re gonna ban you my friend

Buying something off a vendor that blizzard put in the game, and being resold, should now be banned for as “exploiting” ?
You know the vendors who randomly sell health and mana pots, but only like 3 of each? Is it exploiting if you go resell those on the AH for more then what you paid for? People really are losing brain cells by the second lol

in SOD they recently left PTR gear vendors up on the live servers and had to loop back and take the gear away from people who had bought it (was full of t2 and PvP gear)
not a roll back, but they can go and strip the items / gold people got from buying these items

Wont happen. Any SOD items retrieved today will be removed & blizzard will go on about their days.

Idk if you were online when this was all happening today, but there had to of been hundreds or thousands of people buying and reselling boons. Hard to imagine they go through & try to suspend every single person who did so. In turn killing off their population. Who knows though, guess we will see :))

This. There is no confusion on the issue. They knew they were exploiting, that’s how they knew they could sell for a huge margin of profit each. It was a bug they found, so they exploited it for mass quantities of gold. Open and such case. Ban, easily.
Yeah, a complete no-brainer of a ban, and there’s a lot of past similar ban waves.

they’ve waited to long to roll back people have cleared raids in the past 4 hours doesnt seem fair assuming that would effect them also
Already a blue post saying that roll backs cant be done, not how the servers are setup so thats already been put to rest.
My guess is they remove all SOD items that leaked in and go about their days.
