If those are “Some” of the lines that are so super offensive to the point of getting a 3 day suspension, I’d hate to learn see what other super offensive posts they have from me.

Next thing you know they’ll be posting something like “You’re a beautiful night elf.” as a reasoning.

uh huh. Go ooooon…

i think it should only be banneable if you’re using slurs, Profanity is not big deal (but thats the way i was raised)
saying the F word, is completely different than saying the F slur, the F slur should be banned, the F word not.

no, you’re misunderstanding. Tovi is suggesting that they copy-pasted only some of the lines from your chat, and may have grabbed the wrong ones.

Are you afraid of moving this to CS and having a blue tell everyone what you really said?

I am a friend Xanilly have trusted for an while and showed me most of the stuff. Most people here dont know the whole story, but trust me, it is not as big as it sounds. It is quite plain and simple, and i myself have been target to bad-talking on my back, gaslighting and persecutions ONLY FOR ACTING LIKE MY CHARACTER IS. Their excuses to exclude and report me was ‘‘acting weird’’, when i was only impersonating my dracthyr, which is a anxious soldier with a buttery heart. People take offense of everything, and for real, i am with Xanilly on this. I have seen the prints. Blizzard is out of their mind for accepting to ban her.

Adults understand there is a time and a place for things. You are on someone else’s property where you agreed to follow the rules regarding language. Most people realize that breaking those rules can have penalties. They take responsibility for what they say and where they say it.

Just like most people don’t go around in public around families/mixed age groups of strangers using that language, or at work/school if it is prohibited.

The filter isn’t pointless, but it’s also not carte blanche to break the rules. Again, simple concept adults are expected to understand.

Right?

As an adult who swears all the time, I know to stop swearing when in an environment that has rules against it.

It’s not difficult.

The problem with this “logic” is you’re playing a child’s game. Rated T for Teen. They can’t let people say whatever the hell they want and keep that rating.

So post in the Customer Support forum. I’m sure one of the blues there will be more than happy to provide some clarification. It’ll probably destroy your weird narrative, though.

The profanity filter is just an extra layer of protection.

The filter is not permission to break the rules.

The ones that really did it were this: “And I took out my torch and smiled angrily. Then as she caught her gaze upon it did I thus thrust it at the new world tree and laugh menacingly. The horror on her face was potent with fear and decidedly delicious!”

Sorry I made this up but I’m betting it was probably close to that.

And this thread is now in Customer Service… Sorry I can’t help now I quit customer service years ago.

Thing is, if they have more. They have not told me, I submitted an appeal and thats what I got. So I will be moving this to the CS side of things to see the full extent of what they have, because if THAT was it? thats BS.

I am not disagreeing with you there, I am in agreement THAT cant be it. Theres NO WAY that example was the cause of it.
