Rogues in 11.1

The reason Veil of Midnight is being removed is because Cloak of Shadows cooldown going to 60 seconds in 11.1

We can dream, right?

My KS bugs out at times it seems and doesn’t finish…???

While Blade Flurry is active, Killing Spree only focuses on your primary/initial target. If that target dies early, Killing Spree ends prematurely.

Clearly a bug.

If you’re talking about when you spam an ability (such as cheap/kidney) and you have the energy for it but not close enough in range, it spams part of the animation I think along with the sound effect but doesn’t go off. It’s been like that quite a while.

If it’s something else then I am not sure

i dont think its a bug, blade flurry is just cleave off yoru target, so if your target dies before ks is over, youre not cleaving anything. WHILE ks is going with bf active, you will bounce to targets in range. youre not targetting multiple enemies, just bouuncing to them off your main target

Sadly sub has always been like the stock market one moment its up and then the next instance its crashing down.

Thing is, when KS was just a CD and not a finisher, this wasn’t a problem. It would jump to other nearby targets during BF and it didn’t matter if your initial target died. They changed something and it broke. It’s also kind dangerous atm because the animation can put you in front of enemies, so it might get you hit by a frontal cleave/AoE if you time things poorly. Upside, it does break slows.

Yeah it’s super weird that Outaw has two different finishers that have a 45sec CD right? Kinda goes to show how out of whack the spec is.

I do mostly M+, trickster needs a rework OR just rework killing spree to be similar to DH death sweep so you aren’t a liability in mechanics. Either that or make it some sort of channel while you move type of ability.

I’ve tested trickster in lower keys (so i can totally ignore mechanics) and in a +5-6 key range it is a DPS gain over fatebound. But you are also trolling on mechanics/being a liability to your group.

Fazed needs to have the damage and apply rate updated (only ~250k on a 20 sec timer lol). Comes out to around 12.5k dps…

Coup de Grace (the empowered dispatch, THE SUPPOSEDLY STRONGEST part of trickster) is totally garbage. It does less damage than Between the Eyes.

Keep in mind you need to have 4 procs of unseen blade to get Coup De Grace (which outside of killing spree use will take 80 seconds minimum), for a whooping 250k of damage at max combo points (10 point spender)…

If you look at the data for Trickster Outlaw in M+ and Raid its basically 0%…

The charge effect on coup de grace has caused way more oopsies than killing spree. I honestly wish they’d remove that first before reworking KS. At least with killing spree you can CloS into KS and be invulnerable.

This would be a fun contest. Test both skills and see what skill is more lethal. For science!

It’s not like we can dps in a raid anymore.

if you’re using Killing Spree in PVE, always target the highest health target for maximum output. In PVP, if it ends early, then your target is most likely dead (maybe vanish/invis/etc.) and mission accomplished.

What setup are you working with?
Is it something similar to this?:

Pretty much yeah except I take CB and Macro it to KS for a big finisher. I have my trink, race buff and CB macro’d together with KS so that when I want someone dead or I need heavy pressure I just press that and we’re off to the races.

I use Crackshot but I don’t depend on it. It’s my opener but KS is def my finisher. It does a tons of damage even before I make it 100% crit and dump another 10k power onto it.

I did a test on dummies and did 1.93 m with it so I’m happy with the output given how easy it is to do. Maximizing Crackshot often doesn’t seem worth the squeeze.

There’s nothing to talk about when other classes keeps getting rework and we are ignored. We are a meme class.

They’ll overhaul an entire hunter spec then walk back on it before they’ll even bother listening to rogues.

You know why right?

Hunters are one of the more popular specs behind Pallies. Rogues are in a cycle where the less changes they make the less players play the class. So at that point BizZard has created the situation for the class population to shrink.

Not to say Rogues were always popular but it has reached this point because they tune by data sheets and not what people are saying with feedback. But when they do listen to feedback you need overwhelming numbers and Rogue population is too small compared to Hunters and Ret.

It’s a money game. They gotta piss off one class enough to encourage boosts. I bet ppl are buying them left and right to play a better class.

True which is why they are not going to move at lightning pace to fix Rogue issues.
