It’s not even taking it serious, idc about rating, i just want gear, or to have fun in arena or bg’s. Stuff like this takes all the fun out, and reasons why i can’t push past 1900 to get endgame gear

No you’re absolutely right, there’s also ret paladins hitting for 30k+ every ability, or 1 fist of fury doing 28k+, or boomy convoke spamming 17k starsurges, or locks hitting 25k+ bolts. Ya know, other retarded game breaking stuff.

If it makes you feel any better, according to data released at the beginning of this month, 1801 is 90th percentile in 3s. Aka, the lower ratings are deflated.
If you look at a bar graph of rating, there’s a sharp decline in participation after 1600, a spike at 1800, then it just drops totally drops off. My guess is this is directly related to
- People sitting rating after getting 1800 because the push from 1800-2100 is too much effort for them to gain 6 ilvl
- Gear disparity
- Carries
This is just an awful season for arena. The carries, the gear disparity, the deflation at lower ratings. There are a few rats who squeak trying to defend the state of things
All in all I defer to my previous statement. PvP in this game is wack. Best to just try and have fun with it where you can with the knowledge that it will never be balanced. And if you can’t have fun, well then maybe it’s time to join the flocks of people and unsub.

It’s a gimmick but it shouldn’t exist, there’s a very tiny window after the cheap shot that you can trinket and pop a defensive.
This has been fun in bgs but a hot fix eliminatimg the ability to stack multipliers that high is needed soon as this is going to get way worse.
I’m sure blizzard can make it so vanish wipes all current damage buffs and they lose 55% of the Initial shadowstrike crit. Or changing dagger in the dark to something else wouldn’t upset the rogue playerbase
maybe, but closing the game against rogues that fast is impossible right now. you do that, they vanish, they set it up again, you die. or, alternately, you do that, they blind you on your trinket, they restealth freely, they set it up again, you die.

u give up so much control to do this so it should hit hard but how much damage it can do in 1 global is not ok but it does open up a win condition for rogues vs warriors with shadowy duel + one dance one shot if they have trinketed.
If blizzard don’t nerf warriors then im ok with this cheese existing if they do nerf warriors then they should probably make dark shadows +15% damage in PVP combat or something like that.
I don’t understand anyone currently enjoying rogue.
