I know everyone likes talking about how “god mode” healers are, but what’s even going on with Rogues? I’m in full current PvP gear as a Holy Pally, and if a Rogue opens on me solo, I die in Cheap + Kidney if I don’t use something. In fact, one guy was greedy/noob and just slammed Shadow Dance on the opening Cheap Shot, and I had to Bubble to not die in the opening Cheap Shot, lol.

I honestly never thought I’d say this but, rogues could use a buff. I just ignore them and look for the war/mage/ww/surv. As I recall from og by the last season rogues are pretty strong but atm they are little more than a nuisance.

I’m talking about their cooldowns demanding responsive cooldowns that are twice as long as the ones they themselves used. They still have the most CC and utility in the game, and yet, they also threaten 100-to-0 solo lethal every 60 seconds with Shadow Dance.

You havent fought any locks or hunters that arent fully AFK yet, even warrior has rogue like CC in MoP.
Just my opinion but I feel like rogue is the most sane and balanced class in game. The rest are sorta insane by friend.

no, its really bad and consistently the last in dps. It only works with a mage on the team so the rogue can play support with stuns and let the mage win the game for him lol.
No it’s just that this is the weakest rogues have been in PvP since classic in 2019 and their damage output is not an issue at all lol. I barely see them and when I do it’s almost always free points.
Mop is similar to early SL and other expansions where rogue got designed around stacking CDs and modifiers. Were superbly strong inside of those windows and absolutely piss outside of them.
Basically respect the CDs. Don’t under-trade unless you know absolutely what you’re doing. (As in not asking questions on the forums about what rogues did. You should know exactly what other classes are doing to you in pvp)

I won’t weigh in on the balance side of things because I just hate rogues.
But really the only issue I have with rogue is how strong they are during CD’s combined with how short those CD’s are. It feels really bad trading a 3-5 minute defensive for a 60s cd. Even Shadow Blades is 3 minutes and that’s what, their longest cd?
Also, Subterfuge is gross don’t even @ me

The trick is that rogues damage is so windowed, you can often times rotate a micro cc or a trinket and mobility better than you can just a defensive CD, a bad defensive trade can kill you faster than it saves you. -its also really scripted if you get enough practice into it.
It’s nuanced and that’s oversimplified but it’s a team game so just pray your partner has your back.
Something else to keep in mind is counter pressure.
None of it is guaranteed just yeah. The game is what it is. This is how mop rogues are for better or for worse
Shadow dance by itself shouldn’t be a big defensive unless you’re vs double dps in which case youre misrepresenting the issue.
Did you not pop a cd? BoP is extremely op against rogue?
