Rogue P3 Leaks impressions - Spoilers ahead

We got some datamines after this thread was posted!

Lets go over them.

Some changes to Sleight of Hand and Premeditation, maybe just bug fixes.

2 runes for Bracers:

  1. Carnage - we deal 20% extra damage to targets affliected by one of "our" bleeds. We can get it from Rupture, Garrote and Hemorrhage.
    
  2.  Unfair Advantage - when we dodge, deal 100% MH dmg to attacker. 1 sec cds.
    

These share a slot with Cut to the Chase. Carnage seems dead on arrival on PVE unless we get a viable Saber Slash build. Mutilate is still too strong. In PVP it goes with Hemorrhage? Other Bleeds break our CC.

Unfair Advantge looks interesting for Tanks as “Cleave”. Not very good outside of AOE tanking. Probably needs the ICD lowered or removed.

Then we have 3 new spells - poisons specifically. All last 15 seconds and have 105! charges.

  1. One reduces enemy attack power.
    
  2. Another increases time between enemy attacks.
    
  3. The last reduces armor same as max Rank Expose Armor and benefits from Improved Expose Armor.
    

At first I was super happy for this - then I realized the current tooltip says: level 60 required.

So… no raid/dungeon utility again for us this Phase? I am also unsure how Deadly Brew would work with these poisons applied. Do we skip Instant Poison procs if we use another poison?

How are we doing from my previous post?

  1. Cleave/AOE for dungeons and questing - only tanks have something and it's mediocre. Forget about DPS and stick to Tanking Dungeons.
    
  2. Raid Utility - The debuff poisons solve this... IF we get them this Phase. If not we are screwed for an entire phase **again**.
    
  3. PVP tools for Rogue Tanks - Nothing to see here, we are still the worst tank in PVP **again**.
    
  4. High sustained single target DPS to not be eclipsed by everyone else in Raid - no idea yet. Need to look at raw data, some other classes are eating good though.
    

Without debuff poisons, we are left without Raid utility until P4 and only Rogue Tanks can “Cleave”. I am unsure of how we will fare against the other DPS in single target. All in all, I am waiting on any changes/balancing before release but it is not lookng good…

Opinions?

These all appear to be for either a rogue tank or for PvP or both.

Although im curious about carnage… Since we get an INSANE buff to mutilate crit and damage from talents in phase 3 that might make rupture a better finisher than envenom.
20% extra damage for the entire duration of a max rank rupture might be bonkers enough to use.
