Ever since i starts doing pvp around 2007 till this day, rogue mage were op.
No matter what patch, season , legendary etc they were op, and if god forbid one class counter them, that class right away will be nerf to ground so bliz fav kids ( rogue mage ) can be on top.
juts look at this year AWC , 1st week some classes counter rogue mage, what happened?
they gave an emergency patch and boom nerfs came to all classes and buff to rogue, results in this week AWC every single team with rogue mage - or rogue sp gets to finals and win.
i understand maybe the game designer or CEO or w/e playing rpogue mage and wanna their class be op all the time so in that case why we having tournaments?? when was the last time a team none other than rogue mage win the AWC or blizcon.
I know that after i post this all rogue and mage players will come here and start crying that we r not op and so on but this the truth, and bliz don’t do anything about it.
anytime say something that its truth only thing bliz can do is banning the person who make the topic, so i’m waiting to see how long its gonna take em to ban me.
bliz if u really wanna have a competitive game who ppl enjoy and its fair u can’t have ur fav kids be op and roll over others.

Yeah no one really does anymore hence the deflation of the latter and people crying about it… and they wonder why no one plays 3s… I mean rogue/mage/x
I thought everyone moved to shuffle because LFG and finding people to play with was hard and too much social anxiety or can’t find consistent partners or everyone sucks?
I don’t you can definitively say why they moved over, the facts are that awc barely gets 10k viewers every year for the past decade… so it seems like premade arena was never popular to begin with… hopefully going forward they move all awards into SS and solo/douq ranked bgs

I think AWC barely gets 10k viewers because WoW is an old game and the PVP in general is very uninteresting to most people who play WoW (its a mainly PVE game). It caters to the very small portion of game that has somewhat of an interest in PVP.
There are much better games for PVP/Esports out there. WoW PVP is a sinking ship and were just the guys playing on deck as it sinks like the band on the titanic.
