Right now I can see rogues that arent in stealth, and while they are out of stealth and in range of my dots I can spam and none of my dots go off its like a deserter player or npc.
Rogues have this protective barrier right now while they are trying to stealth where they can misjudge their distance and still get a free stealth. Burning Crusade was never like this.
Im not sure if this was a feature added later when rogues complained about getting popped out to make it a smoother stealth transition but its really taking skill out of it
yeah this is prepatch that isnt out yet. if this trash makes it bc it will be even more punishing combined with that and cheat death survivals to restealth in arena.
its like a free 3 seconds to restealth in a game of globals
it doesnt feel like lag its just always I see a rogue on his mount. I know when he dismounts he is mashing stealth. I am in range to dot him as he is dismounting but the game wont let me even though he is unstealthed and in range as a preventative measure to ensure the stealth.
it feels like an intentional mechanism of a future expansion not a bug
I’m not sure if this is what you’re describing but I had a similar issue with not being able to get rogues out of stealth while seeing them. It was almost like the server thought I couldn’t see the rogue, but I could on my screen and my spells just wouldn’t apply.
Just to note though I didn’t have this happen often. Not sure what exactly was causing it.
Yeah, but I like when you can tell when a rogue is good or not. Most rogues are bad and that makes the good ones stand out. I dont want bad rogues getting away with bad play and it not mattering.
