Rogue DRs Broken

So I just hit 60 and did some Solo Shuffle (0-6 but not my fault). I found a strange bug/interaction with Rogue DRs.

I do my typical opener of Cheap Shot, but since I’m Tauren I follow it up with War Stomp to get an extra second of stun, and then Kidney Shot, but my Kidney Shot is only lasting ~2 seconds.

Is there a bug with Tauren Rogues causing Kidney to improperly DR with Cheap Shot and War Stomp? This is pretty game breaking and needs to be fixed ASAP. Other racials like Panda Incap don’t DR Stuns.

if Blizz doesn’t fix, I’d like a free race change.

That is weird. Try opening with war stomp. The game may be bugging since you are not following the intended action sequence of Cheap Shot>Kidney.

Yeah something is def going on. Kidney went from being 7 seconds on my Gnome to 2 seconds on my Tauren.

People claiming “DR” clearly don’t understand how DR works, it’s 3 different spells being casted

you gotta be thinking of WOTLK because in wrath cheap and kidney dont DR but on retail kidney and cheapshot are both “stuns” so they share DR diminishing returns lol… Doesnt matter what race you are they all share cheap shot and kidney dr

only use warstomp for actual kills or last ditch effort interrupt. dont chain with it unless the guy is near death

All stuns share DR on retail. They made that change a long time ago.

Cheap Shot 4 sec x 100% = 4 sec
War Stomp 2 sec x 50% of 100% = 1 sec
Kidney Shot 6 sec x 50% x 50% x 100% = 6 x 0.25 = 1.5 sec

Yikes!! It’s so much worse when you actually see the math.

Definitely updating my ticket to include this info. My kidneys are definitely bugged by the warstomp and only lasting 1.5 sec. Impossible to maintain any pressure right now because of this

That isnt bugged. It is working as intended.

My friend, I was showing you that, unfortunately, it is working as intended. CS and KS have shared DRs for awhile now. I don’t remember which expansion it started in but it’s been a long time.

War Stomp is still excellent, though: blind-vanish-sap whoever uses his trinket to get out of it.

Good news is that you can pick flowers faster. And stealth is helpful for getting to those hard to reach herbalism nodes.
