Gold on my sever is going for incredibly low prices, people are buying out tens of thousands and bots are multiplying daily with zero sight of anyone getting banned including the buyers.
Wrath in its current state is not worth paying monthly for either.
Give us WoW Tokens so we can grind our own gold to pay for the sub fee while also regulating the gold market by introducing legitimate gold purchase into the game.

You’d have to be an idiot to not buy at that low of a price and people brag about running alt accounts to funnel that gold to not get caught either.
There’s a reason why almost half of Classic’s playerbase is probably bots at this point, the demand for gold buying is incredibly high.
A lot of Classic players don’t play Retail.
I haven’t played retail since Legion so I get it lol but you know, it just seems like you’re asking for something unnecessary? grinding gold is probably easier in retail and if you’re that serious about not paying real money, it seems like a small sacrifice lol
We don’t need the WoW token, it’s laughable when I see people suggesting to add it.
I mean time is valuable, idk anyone who can play both Classic seriously while also finding a way to get Retail time in to farm goal.
Classic Tokens can be good for people who mostly main Classic, seems like a no brainer QoL thing.
We do need it, the amount of bots and RMT is out of control and Blizzard has demonstrated they either have no intention or ability to resolve it after so many years.

I don’t disagree, I don’t buy gold and get it purely through GDKPs but I also can acknowledge that the price is so low and people make a decent amount at their job that it doesn’t really bother them to cash out on it.
It should absolutely come to Classic. It needs to be done to regulate the RMT market or bots will only become more rampant.

Blizzard can permanently ban gold buyers. They can also put GM’s in game. I honestly don’t care about making them more money, they aren’t fixing bugs or working on the game as it is.

They can’t ban buyers, most intelligent buyers funnel on multiple accounts and they just trade the gold over and mask it as a GDKP payout which bypasses a lot of their detection, and you and I both know Blizzard will not put in GMs in game. That was something we knew would’ve happened a decade ago.

I agree, I don’t think there’s any risk if you do it correctly but at the same time I don’t think investing that kind of money no matter how small into Classic is worth it.
