I don’t think I’ve seen a frost RMP in a very long time.
Without DB and comet storm/ice nova/ebonbolt/ray of frost doing any damage it would be very difficult to pull off.
Its prob possible to climb with it though, assuming you had a rogue/priest willing to play with you every game and not tilt off planet because you’re playing a much weaker variant of comp.
That being said anything is viable to at least 2400 +50 wins glad as season progresses. The biggest challenge you will have is finding rogue/priest willing to play with you as frost and not getting the rating itself

True but if frost had deep returned, or at the very least had its active talents buffed it would still have really strong goes and good instants of its own.
Would just have to lean on Holy priest or rogue do some xtra work for every setup. THOUGH frostbolt does pump pretty hard and its shatters are decent so its plausible they could have the same good go’s as fire if not slightly better if hes getting big frostbolt/flurry shatters. Without any talent tuning and just as is rn
I sort of want to play it and see. I would even say frost has higher kill potential then fire every go, fire is much weaker without combust but frost can still omegachunk you with frostbolt/flurry procs

Correct me if im wrong about current frost damage but it Feels like it would just be a worse wotlk destro to me? That dispel Immolate and your burst is gone? = dispel flurry? Since everything is frostbolt on frozen. Ontop of having no blanket or deep to cover.
Flurry can’t be purged anymore neither can IV, fingers of frost.
You can purge iceform though if they run it over IV

No no flurry just applies winters chill which isn’t purgable iirc. Its also happening instantly so it would be crzy hard to time even if you weren’t cc’d if it was.
Yea basically but I think frost does a better job then fire when it comes to threatening lethal damage every DR reset. Yea fire is insane in bust but its soft go’s are pretty subpar.
Frost hits like truck every go so assuming you guys were really well played they could potentially win much easier. Thats why i said his challenge would be finding a rogue/priest willing to play with a frost mage and not getting rating. Those 20-40k Frostbolt spams are no joke too during deathborne
I can only imagine the nagging every game like pls just go fire man its soo much better

Winters chill is a magic debuff, it can be dispelled
Although dispelling it only saves you from 2 ice lances which isn’t really worth wasting a dispel on so idk

Thanks for clarifying. I still feel like its a win getting a dispel on that and not the full poly or root someone is now going into.
Doesn’t really matter much anyway since you would have triple cross out anyway so whose dispelling 
.
I think it would work give it a try man. I’m sure there is some rogues/priest out there willing to adjust and play with you either way. Might have better luck as horde though, much more players to play with

Seen Frost Mages kill with Nova/Comet/Flurry and Ray in 2s but DB seems pretty crucial for 3s goes. I ran rmd as Necro a bit and just cleaved with splitting ice and it was fun, but I wasn’t pushing very high with it. Dude was Outlaw too so I blame him tbh.

I saw frost rmp once this season actually. I assumed they queued frost on accident. They didn’t do bad they just didn’t win
Sadly qing with a holy priest and a sub rogue the mage doesn’t have any stuns available so they can’t land sheeps. And there is also the lack of damage, 70k frost bolts from a giant skeleton just isn’t enough

It’d be fine, but then the question becomes why aren’t you fire and why are you forcing your rogue to lose more games because you want to play frost
why do any of us bother playing something that isn’t sub holy or fire
You could play kyrian frost mage with ebonbolt and just double poly the kill target while your rogue and priest cheap and chastise off target but the comps is kind of scuffed without db or deep freeze
Or you could play night fae and have ice form for every go
