They knocked the sets from 2200 to 2000 to 1800 and bumped the average player up several hundred rating while making ranked considerably easier to access via solo queue options.

Yeah those are all universal items.
Free is subjective. We all know there’s actually a lot of players that struggle to get these. Also class specific rewards help drive participation which is desperately needed. Still hoping they revert the other rewards to only be available on the class you earned them on. Prestige rewards should always be specific to the class they’re earned on imo.

I forgot i had that individual ignored but to add to your point. Yes people say “its free” when there is a market for people buying carries and struggling with multiple hundres of games to get to 1800.
Elite sets should remain class specific and not be given for free.

They’ll probably allow for account wide unlock on elite sets, but that doesn’t mean it would be a good change. Which you didn’t say it would be ofc, but just wild we’re even here.
Everything in pvp should’ve stayed in it’s original form. Glad cutoff, 2600 tabard, 2400 enchants, 2200 elite sets, class specific, no sharing it on any toon you didn’t get it on.
Adjust inflation to always end @ 3k-3100 end of season, make it consistent.
At this point I’d not be surprised if they brought back old elite sets / glad mounts as rewards for in between gladiator & r1. The people who care about it are fewer and fewer, which will always lead to less exclusivity and reward for being good.

It’s already free, though, and considering how many steps they’ve been taking to make moggies available to other classes I wouldn’t be surprised to see the restriction go away entirely eventually.

It was an example to use ret (the easiest class to get an elite on in crimson) to grab another classes elite without earning it on said class.
Nobody’s logic is off; this is how it’s worked since elite sets were released.

Oh, and yeah. Wins above 2100 in 3v3, like 50-150 for an old elite set. Limit of 1 per class per season per account.
