There’s a reason Democrats are so quick to shoot down people like Bernie in their party in favor of establishment candidates like Biden.
Biden will lie and say he supports universal health care to get the progressive vote, then turn around and take Big Pharma money and never do it.

His ideals were, and still are, great. It’s just a shame Bernie couldn’t be tough when he really needed to be. If he stopped calling Biden a friend and called him out where it really counted, things might have been much different.

Healthy, employed people who responsibly control the size of their family would be dragged down in financial burden in the states with a universal healthcare system.
We’re already over-taxed on mediocre public services.

That’s not even remotely true though. Look at every developed country in the world. The U.S. is the only one completely ruled by corporate greed. Everyone else has health care figured out, and has a better middle class.
