There are plenty of Republicans who are black, and there are many who are LGBT as well. Let’s not pretend like a huge amount of them aren’t women either. Their rights still matter, and the left still fought for them.

I mean that does nothing either way I suppose? Its just in my face wherever I go. From 25 year olds to 50-60 year olds, I’m seeing more crazy. Maybe I’m just going and don’t get their views it something, but I do hate when people try to tell me what my experience living here is.

I block anyone doing political shenanigans on FB. One friend asked me why I wasn’t seeing their stuff, I just bluntly told them, most people post their political stuff on FB #1 without verifying if it’s true and #2 Would be too cowardly to hold a discussion about it face to face so it’s not worth my time.

If it’s not? Then my experience might be shaped again, just by the people I keep around me.

I have Republican friends, they know they have to prove their positions to me, just as my Democratic friends who I mostly agree with.

I don’t do well with emotional reasoning or “I just feel likes it’s right”.

It’s not but you can keeping pushing your agenda just like I can. It never ends. I understand your determination. You are completely convince your way is the righteous cause and anyone who disagrees is your enemy. It’s a terrible system. At the end of the day we just have to realize that people on both sides just see things differently. Give each other space by organizing around different communities and developing governance at that level. Leave the national government for those things most people agree with.

What agenda? I don’t think a small government would work, in a country with 300 million people. And the other things I talked about - of many Republican states relying on Democratic states - is pure fact. I don’t think anyone is my enemy for disagreeing with me, but people who try and violate my rights are my enemy.

Any Bernie supporter could see how bias CNN is when the network did everything in their power to undermine him and ensure he lost the nomination in both 2016 and 2020. The term Clinton News Network wasn’t invented by Republicans, I first heard the term when CNN was trying to run Bernie out on a rail to make room for Hillary.

Again happened in a day. Germany.

Same thing happened with the VA and another socialized medicine, the DOD, while on Active Duty.

If you don’t have a lot of money or good insurance, you’re likely to either wait a long time or not get seen at all in the US.

If there’s no specialist in the hospital, you may have to go to another hospital if it’s feasible - if it’s impossible to travel (like, say, a neurologist though they always have them) - they get flown to you. But for the bulk of things, you don’t wait that long - a few hours if it’s minor.

And all of this would be free.

I don’t believe you have to be a Socialist or a Communist or a Liberal to look and see that Corporate Interest have bought The Republican and Democratic Parties.

So many policies by our Government are guised as “for the people” but always end up benefiting the Corporate interest who have lobbied for those benefits.

It’s always been so annoying to see Gamers recognize the negative impact companies like EA or Activision have on their hobby, but are seemingly blind to the corporations that have negative impacts on their life.
