RIP Ruth Bader Ginsburg

I don’t really know what you mean. If you mean arguing against actual statistics and facts based on feelings, yeah. I agree with that. Though I don’t actually do that as far as I know. I am open to being wrong.

My point is, compromise is a good thing. Those not doing it are are erring.

That is why I’m not getting involved.

Blizzard can erase us from here but they can’t erase our votes.

But I like posting in the forums, so, I’m just shadowing this thread.

Well I’m reading and replying to your posts, so obviously I don’t put you in the gum wrapper crowd.

Sure there were some dishonest things done and I wouldn’t shy about teaching them.

The US also conquered lands and won them by war too. History is never simple.

I do agree with this. Both sides tend to at times ignore established facts and science for their own emotions. Though lately, it seems we see more people doing that on the right - I’m sure there are examples of the left doing it, but I can’t think of any immediately.

I wouldn’t say radical people count for either side.

Well that’s nice at least. I was wondering for a minute - another Vulpera who looks similar to you ignored me a while back and I’m not sure if I’m lucky or not.

And while this is a good point, I wish we as a nation can stop blaming the white man for stuff he didnt even do. It’s just the lazy way to point and yell and nothing gets done.

Well, I think the big difference is that the crazy stuff that ignores facts on the left tends to come from minor players (like Vox) whereas the crazy stuff on the right that ignores facts tends to come from more important sources (like The White House).

Policy that is more likely to work is based on evidence which is based in facts.

So yes, I do not just think a guy who sees an egg fry on the road during a hot day is right to think we should get rid of frying pans and make it government policy.

“Feelings” are not always the best governing tool.

I have, actually, been told that we all look the same. Some people repeatedly refer to me as “she” even though I’m, ahem, clearly a boy Vulpera.

I agree, but there are some things we shouldn’t compromise on - the ACA was weakened considerably because of extreme compromises to try and get it to pass.

At least the Democrats are refusing to pass a shoddy, terrible bill. The Republicans still haven’t put forth a decent stimulus/relief bill or even a new health care system.

Well considering how badly socialism is we need to actively discourage it. Look what has happened in Venezuela. Venezuela used to be the wealthiest country in South America. During most of the decades following Venezuela’s adoption of a democratic government in 1958 through the 1980s, the country was the richest nation in South America, according to PRI’s The World. Now they are eating rats. We need to teach civics and US history again in our schools so that our Republic remains strong.

They’re referring to me btw, idk how I look like you. Except same colored fur.

You really do from far enough away. If you got closer I can tell But if I’m just glancing at you literally look the same.

I really hope it does end up as mere hyperbole.

That Republican health care plan has been promised since, what, 2008? Still waiting.

Why were Obama and Hillary Clinton both against gay marriage back in the late 2000’s? Superior intellect?

remember when trump bragged about sexually assaulting women and it was on tape and everyone heard the tape and then nothing mattered lol
