RIP cara dune

Really mate? you think shes transphobic because she didnt bend the knee to the idiots that were trying to force her to use pronouns on her bio?

Yeah, no. The stupid pronoun thing deserves to be mocked, it’s ridiculous. Mocking people trying to force someone to put ignorant pronouns on your twitter bio doesn’t make one transphobic.

See my edit.

Imagine for a moment, that you’re at a workplace and your workplace prides itself on its brand recognition and reputation. You make several offensive comments outside of work, word gets back to your boss and your boss pulls you aside and says: “Hey, look, Plaguedemon, we need you to tone down what you’re saying out there, because we’re getting a lot of bad PR and it’s not great for our company.”

You apologize to your boss, you say you’ll do better. You even apologize to the public, making it clear that you’ll tone down your offensive statements and learn from your mistakes.

Then you immediately go back to behaving the same way you did before, only worse.

Do you really think your boss wouldn’t fire you on the spot?

There was more to it than that. Touchy subject for me so I’m keeping things brief.

And who cares, she has hurt you? do you have physical injuries? she has murdered you? no truth, words are words, they are just things that would ignore people and kill no one.

That is why toxic people like you only appear as slags, as scavenging vultures, as a toxic plague waiting to feed and fill the hatred and racism that you are, and they don’t care that what she has said is only looking for the exact moment to destroy all your experience, all your work and sink your worse than an outcast, treat him as the worst scum, worse with a terrorist or a genocide, or the worst criminal you have ever met in the world.

I feel sorry for this actress, she had a lot of potential in acting since Deadpool and what you have done more than the stupid comment she has said is a discrimination and it is more harmless, which is shown by the people who always pointed her finger weak and cowards because they only depend on other strong people in which they are nothing without them.

Let’s hope that their career and for anyone who falls for this kind of community does not affect them at all and they resurface to move on without the need to live off this kind of scum on the internet that only lives to do harm.

In employment law that’s defined as gross insubordination.

No group ought be exempt from mockery, if I may opine. Thus applies to her as well as thee to, and myself, and all peoples the world over.

Apparently many people, including the heads of Lucasfilm and Disney who already gave Gina warnings about her conduct. Also wow, dude, for someone who is calling ‘me’ toxic (despite the fact that I personally did not call for her to be fired but I am happy that Disney and Lucasfilm did the right thing) you certainly dove down the toxic rabbit hole. I’m apparently a Slag, vulture and a toxic plague filled with hatred and racism (don’t know how racism comes into play here).

Maybe take a look in the mirror buddy.

Yeah but it is. That is the world we live in, it’s the world we’ve always lived in.

Disney has a clearly defined code of conduct and it has been in place since their inception. If you’re working for the mouse you pay attention to the rules. You mess up, trash their brand and you’re out, bucko.

i think its time to get out of that mindset…
in this level of social media and close connection of our lives… we need to accept sometimes people will say things we dont agree with.
and maybe…
still get along with them?

disney… code of ethics… laughable.

I said “code of conduct”, not “code of ethics”. Have a bit of reading comprehension, man.

The left feels emboldened enough to openly call for “deprogamming” people it doesn’t agree with politically. Some go as far as calling for literal re-education camps. Her comparison is not that far of a stretch.

eh same thing. laughable either way.

I think it’s wrong to dump professionals for their personal views. If they’re good at their job, making money for the company, who cares?

No. No it isn’t.

I will never, ever get along with a white supremacist. I will not be tolerant of their views. I will reject them with every fibre of my being. Same with transphobes, homophobes, bigots etc.

Tolerating the intolerant leads to the death of tolerance. That was what happened in WW2 Germany, and as one person here put it so eloquently.

“Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

That is why I prefer to separate the art from the artist, or act from the actor to be apropos. Well hast it served me thus far.

If you make the Twitter machine angry, some companies view that as a threat to their profits if you’re attached to something that company makes.

Weak companies.
