The only way any game will compete with wow is if they match wows gameplay and endgame content (mythic plus, raids, pvp).

Weāll see. Iāve barely heard a thing about Riotās MMO, but if they go the New World route and claim their end-game, or even the bulk of the game is about PvP, it wonāt even show up on my radar anymore.
Honestly, considering how much New World has tanked and how many problems its had, Iām grateful they made it about PvP and killed my interest before it ever had a chance to build up.

Like, sure, Riot may launch a good MMO but there are no details available for the game yet, not even a title, as Riot are still hiring developers to work on building it according to their website. So the game isnāt going to launch until late 2023, mid 2024 by the look of it.
And by then who knows what the state of WoW will be. Weāll be in the next expansion by then (whatever that is) and Microsoft will have taken the reigns fully from Activision Blizzard, assuming of course that the sale gets regulatory approval, which Microsoft expects it will.
So youāre not just jumping the gun, youāre jumping the fence at the gun range several years before the shooter shows up to take his shot.

Assuming riot still has some of the CCP devs they poached still there this MMO shows potential. they did poach quite a few of the good ones from eve. Devs who when they leftā¦a part of eveās soul left too.
canāt fault them for greener pastures. But will play hate them since this gave rise to people like CCP Rattati coming into power. for those on the Ion hate trainā¦even he is not as bad as Rattati. what he did to eveā¦makes Ion look good actually.
Just not sure if on this project or if still there. Really didnāt e-stalk this much after they left.

How the heck do you make an MMORPG out of LoL? Do you play a summoner? What about the āclassesā, arenāt they gonna end up gender locked and stuck as multiple of the āsame characterā?
How would you do different classes as you summon heroes to fight? Doesnāt seem interestingā¦
