Just came to the forums to see if the weekly quest was bugging out for anyone else. I don’t have a quest in the Siren Isles to do this week for the ring upgrade.
you finish the weekly thing and get a second quest its a purple mark

I haven’t checked yet but looks like last weeks was bugged to last Tuesday. I didn’t log until later in the week last week so I got it but doesn’t surprise me then since it was bugged last week.
It isn’t showing for some people (myself included). People ingame are chatting about it as well.
Edit: Another week of bugs.

its a second quest after you do the fill the bar quest you need to do the first one than the other appears

the quest happens in the storm area thats not open until you can go to it.

Oh snap….mine is still 639. 
Its just a less fun version of Forbidden Reach with a souped up gimme ring, with no vault thing and like two world bosses. I guess the ring is worth getting.

I started doing the weekly…not only is needing to complete the entire weekly way more tedious, but the mobs from this invasion are way more obnoxious. So many ranged spam-casters/shooters.
