Ring Rust?

Will these players grinding on classic be deleted/easily beat once they come back to arenas?

All sports athletes suffer from ring rust after a long lay off after all.

And if this happens will they complain how retail is too hard and ask for nerfs to x comp that beat them?

My concern is if it does happen they will lose the desire to compete and just retire

nate diaz proved there’s no such thing as ring rust

Nate is on performance-enhancing drugs

Also he beat a fighter comparable for a player beating a Warlock Demonolgy/ Holy P/ MM comp

In other words ez win

i swear all these mop/wod babies upset about people going to classic remind me of the new friend you were forced to make after your way cool bff moved away for several years and now they’re super upset and insecure because the super cool bff moved back and now we’re paying more attention to them instead

Not really it just makes 0 sense because classic isn’t a god send it’s actually just as bad of a designed game if not worse than bfa… literally the only difference is you have more abilities yet any time I see someone play they’re literally just spamming 1 button and praising it like its the best thing they’ve ever done for some odd reason lol…

Sorry, did you just call Anthony Pettis an easy win?

The dude just flatlined Wonderboy.

Check yourself.

Nate looked amazing for taking 3 years off.

They’ll just come back on the new patch where the new vendor pve gear is bis, gonna be new broken essences, there’s gonna get the new broken pve items and trinks. They’ll just be a day behind since everyone will pretty much be at square 1 because nothing in pvp actually matters. And then they’ll leave for the new phase that drops in classic

Showtime is good just tailormade for a pressure fighter like nate

See El Cucuy

Also he is a bit exposed and mentally checks out once tired

Na if theyre any good at all they will get back to the top with ease in a week, BFA gladiators that spam games at 2200 cr into other peasants dont pose much of a threat to them

granted that the game is the lowest skill cap iteration to date, no i think we’ll be just fine.

Don’t think so. Pretty sure Wizk quit playing in between cups for awhile and really only played League and came back fine.

Maybe if there were big class changes and they hadn’t played into something that was freshly broken it’d be different.

The only thing that would put people behind is not being as geared/high neck etc

WoW isn’t as crazy hard to play mechanically where you’re suddenly going to lose all your skill from being inactive

Like you might be sloppy for a que sesh but you’ll pretty easily get it back

Just my experience any time I’ve taken a break or witnessed any other good players take a break

BfA arena is mostly just solved for so many comps that this isn’t a factor :man_shrugging:

But even in deeper games (like fighting games) players like Leffen for example will take breaks from melee and perform fine after those breaks too. You’re not suddenly going to go from being the best player to the worst one.

All that knowledge and muscle memory is mostly there, you’ll just be out of it slightly

And if people aren’t enjoying BfA arenas it’s just because it’s dull rofl. I only have fun playing BfA because I got lucky enough to have a spec that isn’t extremely linear/1 dimensional but so many other classes are and it just makes the game not exciting.

Also srsly stop trying to reach for an excuse to be superior than others just because you don’t play classic (this goes to the other side as well). Let people enjoy things.

Edit: btw reason athletes fall behind is their bodies just stop being conditioned for the physical activity as well. But this doesn’t really apply to a game based on knowledge lol. Rarely even applies to the most mechanical games.

ok but wat if u get hit on head, forgetted how to play

then did u rust?

I’d just play Fire mage then ez

DH is a solid contender for that spot.
