Right Click Reporting is out of the beta. No official word yet

Probably because people were using it to some degree and it wasn’t doing anything since it’s not connected to any CS functionality. Why keep it in if people are using it, thinking it functions at all when it doesn’t because it’s not “hooked up”.

aw jeez it might not be gone for good then
way to get my hopes up blizzard

And you ignore the part where they said that the community may consider it to be spam and may report it as such. Spam is not simply posting the same thing repeatedly, it is disrupting normal communication in a public channel.

There it is. Much obliged.

Not true, guilds, streamers, bgs, etc can mass report, to target someone…

Bans need to be passed out to EVERYONE that falsely reports someone, is the only way rcr should be in the game.

You can still report spammers. I dont understand your arguement? The removal of RCR does not magically make it to where you cant report people…

You do understand that Blizzard wants players to report people like you? Posts like this don’t help your cause.

Thank you to the green posters for pointing out that it is not present on the PTR either, and for getting clarification somewhat on it usually not being available in PTRs and Betas since there is no CS functionality in the test builds.

This says that those of us that want it to be in Classic have nothing really to worry about since it will still most likely be in the Classic client as it is in the BfA client when Classic goes live.

Thank you, and RCR-Squelch fans can do much rejoicing.

Because they’re too lazy to fill out a ticket. They want something done, but only if they don’t have to spend more than 2 seconds on it.

The reality is we all know it is definitely going to be in classic. No way is blizzard going to hire more GMs when they just laid off hundreds.

That does not mean it should be, but it is what it is.

They want you to report people like me? Whats people like? Telling you how it is? Telling you that you are still able to report people wothout RCR? Telling you that RCR is rife with abuse? Or because i tell you to stop whining?

I don’t care what you say or how much you spaz out in trade chat.

Blizzard does. Blizzard wants people to report masked profanity. Blizzard wants people to use their report systems to enforce their rules. Do I need to go link the dozens of Blue posts where they’re practically begging people to use the right-click report feature?

You telling players to stop whining isn’t accomplishing anything. If you want things to change, you need to convince Blizzard to change their rules.

To report people for ToS violations, yes. Not report people because they posted more often than you would like. Not report people because they are making jokes. Not report people so you can win a RBG. You report people for ToS, not because you can.

Dude, look at the post you made above, I’m not even going to quote it because I’ve suffered a forum ban for less. That’s exactly the kind of stuff they want players to report.

You going around telling people to suck it up and stop whining isn’t going to make Blizzard go “EUREKA, HE’S RIGHT!”

Again, what are you referring to? Report me for what? Because a curse word? Theres a mature filter for little kids. Just like there is an ignore list for a reason. Ah, cleaver use of ingame mechanics.
Im not trying to change blizzs mind? Dont know why you create that arguement? I never even brought it up.

Blue posters have stated that there being a mature language filter is no excuse for using that kind of language. You can still be silenced/banned for it.

My guild will most certainly be the largest cohesive guild on our server. We can abuse RCR without ever violating the ToS.

You are very excited and post in trade chat “Woohoo! My [insert item here] finally dropped!”

We like you it’s Gratz, grats, awesome bro…

You are on our hit list and you posted something in trade not trade related:. Mass RCR’d and instantly squelched.

Since the “realm decides” ( blizzards words) what is and is not appropriate, they are not going to action is for using the report system that they begged us to use.

Example two:. A dozen people spam Thunderfury, we like eleven of them. Number twelve is on our hit list. Squelched.

That’s fine, I won’t censor myself. There’s a censor filter already.

Good luck with that.

All good. Just don’t be surprised when you get squelched or silenced for the use of inappropriate language.

We will find out one way or another in August. :kissing_closed_eyes:
