I agree. Especially if there’s a box I can check in options that auto-expands squelched comments.

is banning the only punishment? Pretty sure thats why Asmon was actioned when he pulled his stunt, banning won’t be the first thing anyway.

I don’t know. I cannot find a single post anywhere on the internet from someone saying they falsely reported and got punished for it.
Can any reasonable person believe that NOT ONE angry kid in all these years has not confessed on a forum somewhere?
You can find droves of posts, especially on overwatch of people complaining they were squelched due to false reporting. But not one single post of ANYONE complaining that they got punished FOR reporting someone.

No. Blizzard will not delete your account or character. Even if you ask them too.
I know this because I asked to have my account delete once. . long story. Anyway, about 2 years later I came back and took a shot and contacted customer service, and. . they just restored it. So it was never gone.
LoL, “I did not see it so it did not happen” even though Blizzard said themselves they do and they punish all other abusers , and habitual abusers of game systems, but somehow this ONE system is different!
Asmon would be an example of someone who got actioned for abuse of it.

oh nvm i just watched a swifty video he did get hes account deleted but , blizzard thought that was to harsh and they gave him his account back
And all that means nothing, chances are that they never progressed much past the first couple actions, but once again, why would abuse of this system somehow be immune from being actioned?
And also , you just said it, people were posting ‘claiming’ they were falsely reported, do these same people follow up with what the CS ticket they for sure filled out told them?

Well the complaints we do see tend to end up with, yeah that was a squelch that was earned.
But where are all the complaints on non blizzard controlled sites from people who are getting squelched just because someone randomly wants to squelch them?
