I have been muted and when it happened I was DC’ed, just for the reference of the person that claims this is not true and has never happened, I been muted twice in the last 2 years and both times I was DC’ed, checked my email, saw the notification, logged back in to being muted.

People who falsely report have no consequences. System just squelches reported automatically. It’s not a two way street. Terrible idea to change in classic.

Sure they do, do it enough or blatantly you’ll be punished, Blizzard punishes people who continually abuse, and abuse every other system in game, why would this be any different?
Especially when they were laid off. Funny how that works.

Because the cost is not worth their time. You have to understand, they don’t give a sh**, its why they put in an automated system in the first place. So they don’t have to bother with it.
They’ve never banned anyone for false reports, they aren’t about to start.

how do you know? They punish people for abusing everything else, this is no different. You do something enough or blatant enough and you will eventually get a ban, but there are other punishments that can take place before a ban too.
Because that’s how it’s been built, common knowledge.
Show me who been ever banned for over reporting falsely? There’s no one.

There’s plenty on reddit saying they were RCR squelched. There’s not one for the other way.
Plenty of evidence to my statement. Plus they don’t state anywhere they punish reporting, so there’s that too.

Oh they definitely care, the people who troll chat and drive people away from the game are more harmful over all than the random person who might get muted incorrectly which is very easily remedied.

Actually DC roads are horrible. But parking the big ones at events are fine with me.

right click reporting sucks cant people just act like adults and put people on ignore instead ?This can affect people greatly , like if i wreck someone in pvp and they get pissed and report me
