you did have 4 expac there was S tier level and was literaly raid boss alone in PvP let other class shine i would rather have augmentation then to get face rolled by a DH that you can’t do nothing about it
man the DH before all you needed to do was 3 button, 5 button max and you did explode the dps meter there PvE player and PvP player doesn’t matter what content you do with a DH because they was the meta class for like i said 4 expac
the cringe dh haters always crawl out of nowhere to lie about the class and keep it f tier, nobody wants a class to be easy, but nobody should want a class to be terrible
hahhaah 4 expac op? havoc dh was worst mele class over shadowlands end bfa remove all defensives and nerfed to be unplayable, df just be op 2 weeks in s2 then nerfed and tww is the C mele class and you said be op. puff augmentation always be op class since release.
Three buttons compared to the two buttons the Evoker has to use to stay alive while buffing other classes, lol? It’s clear they haven’t played or seen a DH in action since BFA because the whole playstyle has changed. And compared to other DPS classes, it has the worst sustained damage in both single target and AoE, especially with the other classes having constant bursts with cooldowns under a minute, compared to the DH’s 2-minute cooldowns
think it’s pretty much you man. and it’s a git good case because in legion they was literaly unkillable because of they’re leech and dodge mechanic they did have in pvp. So nah don’t give me DH did suck because i did ask every member of my guild and they laugh at you if you did suck with your dh it’s you not us
and well one of my guildy is really good with it so nah they need a little buff but i would pick augmentation patch any day then that aborration
The hate under this post in incredible. Its like reading comments under Rogue posts except ecery class is jumping in . Rogues just have grey parsers thinking they deserve to say anything.
To that point, idk how many specs have a hero class they just havent touched the whole xpac, but DH as a whole is of them.
people are just insanely unhinged, imagine hating an entire class and then doubling down and boldly claiming it should be bad lmao, sht is sweet when its warriors coming in to say it too, but either way, yes, DH needs single target buffs
This being a justification for a class to not get some gameplay overhauling and changes is a non-starter. You’re not making an actual point to be discussed by saying this, you’re simply implying that past performance justifies a lack of attention to gameplay and function.
People love to rag on DH because it has historically had simpler playstyles in prior expansions. Havoc no longer has a simple playstyle. It has jank in its kit, it really hasn’t seen positive gameplay changes since DF launch, and people want to excuse it seeing no positive or quality-of-life changes based on past performance.
Classes come and go in the ‘meta’. People need to stop hating other players or other specs for what Blizzard makes of them, and realize that you’re dealing with people trying to play the game and have fun. Every person who played a DH in the past did not play it to be broken. I played it in the past and I play it now because I enjoy it, but it has not been my main since I tanked with it in Antorus (where VDH was definitely not a “meta” tank compared to some others). I enjoy Havoc now, but I know some people don’t.
It’s similar to the nonsensical mentality people apply to BM Hunter. “At some point in time it was the best Hunter spec and the ‘easiest’ to play, so it deserves to sit in a dumpster forever marked as ‘the easy spec’.” It’s a mentality born of a mixture of past jealousy and current spite, and causes nothing but rifts in overall discussions of the game and the way specs play or function.
Take Arcane Mage this season- top end, inarguably meta. It got nerfed, then nerfed again, then got playstyle adjustments that have made it somewhat clunkier to play for no reason, after Arcane just got pulled out of the insane clunk dumpster fire of design.
Frost Mage then shifted into Deathchill, which means the old meme of “Frostbolt highest cast spell” is trying to come back again in raid settings. Who asked for these changes? It wasn’t people playing the specs, but people are acting like Mage deserves to feel like sludge to play because Arcane was ‘meta’ for less than half of a season. Maybe they think Arcane and Frost don’t deserve to do well because Fire enjoyed a decent length of time in ‘the meta’? I dunno.
