Revert TBCC Arena changes and make 1500 the default for new teams

Can we have a blue post response to the current issue that is plaguing PvP in TBCC? There are many like me who were hyped for the return of classic Arena and resubscribed mainly to experience those early days of S1, only to be massively let down by these artibrary changes that completely destroys participation. I’ll quote a forum post below that describes the current scenario really well.

The worst part is personal rating, which makes it impossible to play with multiple people even if you use multiple teams.

You either screw someone out of points or you get screwed yourself because you don’t play enough games to match your personal rating to the team rating.

And the best part? People still sell rating + titles, so the whole personal rating system didn’t actually solve any problems.

Don’t worry guys, there’s always TBC fresh in 2.5 years. HUEHUEHUE

Don’t forget the cutoff ignoring all teams below 1000 to add insult to injury.

Fingers crossed it’s fixed tomorrow

They knew what these changes would do. They knew tbc arena would dwarf retail arena so they made it bad on purpose. If the 13 year old version of arena has more players then shadowlands arena then the higher ups would start to notice the massive espionage that has been slowly eroding the game for the last 8 years. They will only alter or change arena once a certain amount of time has passed.

They did the same thing with ‘batching’ in vanilla classic. They purposely set batching higher to make the game more laggy and less enjoyable, and only lowered batching once the damage had been done. That way they could end vanilla classic with a different batching value and not seem so suspicious.

All wow is at this point is developers trying to harm player factions either due to their own opinions or just straight up espionage lmao.

In other words, Blizzard developers are purposely sabotaging Classic so as to make it less popular, so that their bosses don’t realize how much they &%$#!ed up retail. Hmmmm. Sounds looney but plausible at the same time. Not saying this is the case, but developers like that should be fired.
