The blue pvp gear is overrated. Many people going to lose to teams who don’t even use it.
There is nothing to address so that is why they didn’t
There is no way to “fix” it
I love when people are like FIX something but have no idea or solution. Saying something needs to be fixed without a solution is just a pointless conversation.
Far as I’m concerned the Bonus armor bug makes up for the HK honor bug where you don’t get honor.
this is a stupid response… because youre penalizing those who grinded hard… i bet you’re not even doing battle grounds and just want to penalize people… mine is hard earned and im near 10k
I’ve grinded 31k and nearly capped on AB marks post nerf because never lucky lol. All i want to know is why the Rank 10 hear has the same BG marks cost that the R13 gear does. If it was in line with the honor cost this alt would be able to wear it and not be worse geared than a boosted character. Might just grind another 10k and get MH and OH R14.
Some of us have jobs and things in real life to where we couldn’t abuse the honor in the 2 days or whatever. Get a job, then you’ll understand.
Jesus shut up. Get out of here with that terrible take LOL.
I’ll shut up when the mods actually tell us “no.”
But look here; silence. It’s so childish, a problem that can be solved in a minute.
That was in response to the person insulting possible unemployed players during a pandemic lol.
I bet if you missed the first day of pvp due to other obligations you’d be singing a different tune. Only in favor of it because it benefits you, just like the rest.
Ever remember cascading where people were weeks/months ahead on mc gear until blizzard hotfixed it and removed all the items obtained? Yeah pretty similar situation.
You mean the majority of the players and the small minority that abused the honor bug and kept their honor?
No, I didn’t PvP during a large portion of the time that honor gains were higher and I’m perfectly fine. Oh no, I have less honor than someone who PvP’ed more than me.
Things to remember:
(1) I’m still PvP’ing and I’ll have the marks and honor I am shooting for anyways.
(2) I’ll make a bunch more honor come 70.
(3) We’re all going to need to farm EotS marks.
(4) Arenas aren’t going to be out right away anyways.
(5) Let’s be honest, a piece or two of blue PvP gear isn’t going to make or break things. I know you think you’re going to be playing at the absolute highest levels where everything counts but I can guarantee you that you won’t be.
(6) I’m not a sad little cry baby.
Ok Honor capped shill.
Like most things, the best answer is usually in the middle of the two extreme viewpoints.
On one hand - Arena isn’t live on 6/1, I believe it’s 4 weeks in which should yield plenty of time for those to grind out honor and tokens if that’s what they want to do.
On the other hand - Blizz should recalculate the erroneous honor gains while they were live to match their intended levels. Honor should not be erased completely as people still played/earned their honor during this time, however, the unintended amplification of honor should be addressed.
u can get 75k honor in like a week after the nerf
Does it really matter that much? If people want to grind that hard to get epic gear now that will be replaced in a few days or to get honor capped (something that will be much, much easier to do at 70) then let them. If there’s 4 weeks until arena starts then it’ll all balance itself out.
I don’t understand all the outrage about some people getting lucky and getting extra honor before blizzard fixed it.
focus on getting 100 of each mark ant the honor will come
i have 100 AB and WSG marks with 50 AV marks and 48k honor
guess what ill be doing this weekend?
I’m at over 50 of each mark, and 36k honor. All gained after the hotfix. I’ve not been hitting it hard either, been splitting my time between honor capping my main, getting my boosted druid gathering alt’s gathering skills maxed, and leveling a paladin.
If you’re not able to honor cap in the time you had, what does it matter? If your time to play is that limited, it wouldn’t effect you either way.
seriously they cant be asking for blizz to reset honor… what about the people who spent ~100 of hours over the course of two weeks to get honor + mark cap?
It’s the principle of the matter. Exploitation of a bug occurred whether knowingly or unknowingly by players - it matters not. Blizz fixed the bug, but they also need to address the damage done while the bug was live (in my opinion honor gains during bug should be recalculated to their intended levels).
There are varying severity levels of bugs, but the underlying principle is about fairness which goes to the heart of quality/longevity of gameplay. Anyone who isn’t for fairness is part of the problem whether the issue is large or small.
everyone can honor+mark cap
maybe they did it in two days, maybe they did it in two weeks
