Revamp m0 and put all boss loot to last boss or chest (Less people complaining and no leavers)

This way be fair for everyone and also clearing dungeon then leaving after first week of m0 dungeon’s ?

Good idea imo.

Why just M0? do it all for all dungeons.

then you can just kick people before last boss and invite a friend and the person kicked getting nothing

Wont happen that way cause you have to be there to boss to open the chest if gets invited they get nothing cause kills isn’t registered to their friends so see why wont work

It’s been talked about and has a thread or two lying around but the more threads about it, the better. These people continue to push their toxic behavior towards their fellow players, they either need to be HARSHLY punished or we need to push items to last boss…

There is ZERO defense for it, if you wanna leave after the first boss… get some people/friends/whatever and spam run the dungeon with those people.

How about you form groups that are only for completion and make that clear, instead?

Because other dungeons are easier to replace someone.

No, thats all that needs to be said. You dont punish all for a few people hurting your feelers.

Its not a big deal, people can leave after they have killed the boss they need. Form groups with like minded people and stop asking daddy bliz to step in and go overboard like they always do.

Don’t allow kicks after the penultimate boss then.

Then you’ll get kicks after whatever boss it is allowed. You’d basically have to remove kicking from queued content entirely. Which then opens the door for any individual to be completely toxic toward their team.

Yes, the current mechanisms in game can be abused. But I truly don’t think people consider how much worse it could be with some of these suggestions. There’s a reason basically every game that relies on player self-policing lands in a similar spot with their policies as WoW has today…

Best solution would be to move everything to the end of the boss, but only the final boss.

So no valorstones, crests or loot, until the last boss, and the last boss only drops 2 items. Those 2 items can be anything from the dungeon loot table, to really add some razzle dazzle.

Don’t get your item, well good news; M0 will open for you tomorrow or you can start doing M+ for repeat attempts.

I’ma be real. I’ll leave when I want regardless of the penalties that Blizzard applies to the act of leaving a dungeon. This mentality that people have promised to stay by your side until you are done with them because they hit “join group” needs to go away.

Randoms mean you may get bad DPS, you may get good DPS. You may get a slow tank, you may get a fast one. You may get someone that is only going to stay for their drop chances, you may get someone that doesn’t even need anything and is just there for fun.

It’s a world of random out there and if people can’t take it then there are other options for them to explore.

It’s funny to me that this isn’t even a concept in pugs in classic.

Retail pug community is a dumpster fire.

This only works for M+ because the first 5 people who start the dungeon get the loot at the end even if someone leaves mid-run. The loot is rolled off on the backend. If someone leaves it gets mailed to them.

Now what happens if someone leaves and you invite someone else. Now there 6, 7, 8 people that’s rolling on the backend.

This also opens exploits if the end-of-dungeon loot system is changed where groups could kick others to invite a friend or just increase their own chances.

First glance it’s a good thought, but when you actually think about the end-of-dungeon loot system and how it operates it wouldn’t work for M0.

It’s funny to me that literally every wotlkc raid pug had people leave when we were past the boss they sr’d loot from because after that point there’s no reason for them to stay.

Even more funny part is that people sure did leave rdf beta/gamma content after the boss they were farming, the real deal however is that Blizzard had enough iq to make the REALLY important items drop from the final bosses and not the first boss in the dungeon.

Which is exactly all that should be changed here, if there’s outlier valuable items on the first bosses then perhaps swap them with something from the final boss’ loot table.

Too big brain for Blizzard

I’ve been playing Era for years and have never had someone just bail after a dungeon boss didn’t drop their item.

Sorry your Wrath experience sucked.

Surely they did because ain’t nobody gonna sit through a dungeon they need nothing from anymore after the boss that drops their loot died especially since ancient vanilla or whatever dungeons were apparently super long and annoying.

Oh and my wrath classic experience only sucked because the expansion is mid and the gameplay wasn’t too entertaining. I don’t really care that people leave from some silly rdf garbage or even a raid we’re farming in pugs.

Just remove all the other bosses then, what’s the point in them.

It has to happen in M+ because of the way it works, but looting your gear from a boss is part of the fun.
