How is this even going to work if you already picked up the first part of the rejoin quest for another covenant? Will it just get deleted from my quest log?
Oh OK so still no way to help all 4 covenants at the same time, here I was thinking we were saving the Shadowlands, not Ardenweald.

No he has a point, it needs to be pointed out that this will almost certainly be a once off thing where if you swap out and swap back thatâs it, the next time it will be just as bad as it was.
They know the problem, we have been telling them the problem for as long as we have had access to this game, they simply want us to grind all day.
Less content, more grinding, thatâs how you roll out an expansion with less staff and costing.

This patch took 9 months.
If they wanted us to grind more, they could have just let us swap freely but keep progress tracks unique for each Covenant.
Would have gotten more timeplayed from people who wanted to level up say Necrolord for PvP but Kyrians for PvE.

How much feedback do devs need from players saying theyâre not having fun with a system before they just change it. I mean, this is just asinine.
Just think about some of the biggest complaints of this expansion and how easy it would be to fix them. Covenant/conduit restrictions, pvp power gaps, anima grind, etc. These things wouldnât even require asset development time. These are just system level adjustments that are being held back purely by dev philosophy. I mean holy hell, imagine how much more fun the game would be tomorrow if they let us freely swap between covenants. Your gameplay would literally feel 4x more diverse and open instantly. Alts would be more fun, you would have 4 times the story content,etc.
I just donât get it.

You gotta understand that Blizzard are small indie devs.
Having the story actually be cohesive for gameplay mechanics is beyond their scope. Now excuse them as they go make another cinematic where a character tries to kill an undead who doesnât need to breathe by choking them out.
