I am a returning player (Away since DF S1) that originally mained on MG. Upon returning a month or so ago I began playing on Stormrage but it didn’t take long for the RP itch to come back.
That being said I am looking at transferring to MG full time again and I will be actively looking for an active RP guild to join. It’s definitely been awhile for me but I have what I would consider a decent amount of experience in RP as well as leading/helping lead RP guilds. I mainly play human now but if required I would consider playing other races to fit the lore of the guild. I certainly wouldn’t complain if said guilds dipped into game content as well (Raiding/PvP and I might dabble in some keys but not really my forte).
Right now the big names in Human RP are the kingdoms (Stromgarde, Kul Tiras, Gilneas, etc.) and criminal guilds. I’ve seen a few merc/adventure type guilds, but with the lull in players as DF winded down I cannot speak on which of them is still active.
Whichever path you choose, I wish you luck! There are many great guilds that have only grown stronger through Dragonflight!
I have heard a lot of good things about Redridge, who are primarily human characters. OOC they also seem like friendly types when I’ve had the pleasure to interact. They seem like a fit for vast amount of character types, so I’d give them a glance and see if you think it might be a fit ^^
