Hi, I’m a returning player and when I log in to the retail client I can’t find my old characters. The main ones were on Maelstrom and Lightning’s blade, but neither are there. I’ve tried creating a character and logging in but they still don’t show up. I even tried using this self-service tool (see below) and I can see the characters on that page but not in the client.

I suspect the ones you are looking for are on your older named license on this same Battlenet - that license was banned.

Yup, both of those are on the older named license.
Ah interesting, I don’t remember that ban happening. Is there a location where I could find info on that?
That license was closed in 2015.
If you don’t remember it, it’s very possible that the account was compromised while you were away, and banned as a result of that.
