Ok Team,
I am a returning player who has recently been " inspired?" to play WoW again. I have not really properly played for quite some time and need some help getting my head around things.
I have looked at guides and resources but would like to cross reference a bit of a checklist and my understanding of the lay of the land before stepping back into it to work out how I’m going to manage my time correctly here and what I should be looking at doing. I come from a land where raiding was the end game…That was the be all and end all of WoW.
So it feels like player power is linked to the following areas"
Daily Quests (Gear to a point and rep)
Now we have Mythic + (dungeons which get harder and award Raid Level Gear)
Delves (Solo content which award raid level gear)
Raids
Mythic raids (Highest Level gear in game)
PvP - Seems to only relate to PvP now and the PvP gear isn’t useful for PvE content but scales up in PvP content to high level gear
Optional:
Transmogs
Pet Battles
Mount Collections
Which leads me to believe given how the Delve system and Mythic + works now, You can play entirely solo and get the same gear you would get for completing Raids as a group? And Raids are no longer necessary to keep up with the Ilvl of everyone else except the Mythic level raiders or am I missing something here?
Please feel free to correct, just trying to rack my brain behind it all.
Last I played the game was daily quests for rep, resource gathering for raids, pvp in spare time. Maybe get some transmogs in your down time.
Thanks Everyone.
