Returning player, Account disappeared?

Returning after 12 years, account no longer shows having any transactional history. Before I buy up what I’m missing, I want to re-establish contact with my old game content. Characters missing, tried “logging into server with a new character to find old ones” but that hasn’t worked.
I was an avid player from before Burning Crusade, through Mists of Pandaria. Battle.net doesn’t have anything in my account. I am 98% sure I am logging into the right email, because I can find old emails about email verification from 2011. One of my brothers is pulling me back to playing, and he is an “Account Friend” and tells me I am still listed as “Last Logged on 12 years ago” after I have been looking at the new world. I think I left before Wow Classic was a thing, so I should be on the “Standard Wow” Miss my old pets, pretty mounts, Transmog items.
Can easily list off a bunch of characters from before if that helps. Seems weird to shout names in a open topic starter.
Starting with Dragonblight server

  • Mikochan, Spacegoat Shaman
  • Feystorm, Night elf warrior
  • Choya, Night Elf Druid
  • Flopsie, Gnome Mage
  • Mopsie, Gnome Warlock
  • Lopsie, Human Priest
  • Yukibana, Night Elf Hunter

I know Char level was crunched, but they all topped in Cataclysm, not sure how far into Pandoria each got.
Had a few on DragonMaw Horde Side, but names are foggy

Having a few names with servers might help a moderator check the details, especially if this is a different account.

Make sure your logging into the correct bnet and license.

Had the same thought. Attempted “Forgot my password” for other emails I have used in the past, in case this was the issue, but Battle.net does not recognize any of them. Also I have received many emails from Battle.net to this email in the past.

It did, especially since you included the Class and Race of the characters, that helped narrow down which ones were likely the ones you were looking for.

So you are definitely looking for a different Battlenet account. I obviously can’t provide it, but I can give you hints.

The email address you are looking for would be a Hotmail address. The first part is based on your name, the second half is a common acronym.

The characters you are looking for, once you regain access to the account, are on Blade’s Edge. You have others on Dragonflight, Eitrigg, Sen’jin and Smolderthorn.

OMG! Okay, I remember a phone call with a support rep my email had become compromised. Awesome to hear that everybody is still around. Thank you for the help!
