Yep sadly you’re probably right. I was in the process of getting all my toons at least 20 so I could spam dungeons. I’m headed to the unsub button until they reverse this.

I’d love to meet the community that held a super majority vote on removing dungeon finder. Classic is so cliquey and tryhard terrible as it is you’re going to absolutely kill any sense of Wrath not being that way if dungeon finder isn’t a thing.

dual spec changes nothing unless you yourself are playing a class who has a tanking spec. 50g to swap specs is not alot in current tbc if people where willing to tank dungeons they would already be doing it

prolly no blood dk dps lol they will be using the 3.3.5 patch where dk went through alot of changes and nerfs. besides the caved in brains who still say shammys can tank no one will seriously be playing blood as dps.
It’s the same on Bene [A], can’t even find a SM group for my Tank Pally! Big sad face was looking forward to seeing all the WTS spam go away. Blizzard you’ll need to add in a chat filter for the community to ignore keywords like WTS Boosts X Dungeon, please!

Ok so here’s your 1 in 10 vocal minority. Just look at this thread. It’s 90/10 saying it’s a bad move. Honestly they could put some servers into their own “non-LFD” versions.

I can’t think of a time when someone said ‘I’d rather sit around in a city spamming for groups’ rather than questing and waiting on a group… removing group finder will likely be the end of WoW for me. It is what I was really looking forward to. This last sub will be the end for me. Been fun, all!

Not having dungeon finder is a very very very bad idea. People dont want to spend an hour spamming to get a tank ffs. Reconsider this decision, saying the community doesnt want this is pretty wild considering I dont even know 1 person in my guild or what I play with that wouldnt want this feature.

Blizzard please look at the comments 90% of these post wants Looking for dungeon. It is a struggle to find dungeon group in smaller server. I for one do not care if you remove looking for raid. I only looking for dungeon!

I don’t get the no dungeon finder because of community. Making me shout into a chat channel to form my groups doesn’t make it so I form bonds with people any more so if I joined a group with them via a group finder.
I went through the classic experience, and I found the community by joining guilds, not doing the group forming. LFD could be there, and I would have still found community by seeking people out in guilds and such. Guilds give people the time to get to know you.
I have never had people talk to me when I make groups beyond the business end of the group, so I don’t get this whole community aspect behind group making. Looking for more dps, tanks and such is not asking how people’s days are, how their kids are. You are trying to figure out how the group should be set up and why they should or shouldn’t join. The social aspect comes after. That social aspect can also come from a LFD group.
Other MMO’s and games can have community with random matchmaking as the community doesn’t come from how the group forms, it comes from other methods.
