Encounter is still bugged. If Toe dies too quickly (which now can be one-shot) he bugs and never changes phases so Murloc cannot be targeted and encounter never ends or resets. You can only hearthstone out, reset instance and go in again.
Please fix. This affects the Smoldering Ember Wyrm runs.
Itâs still bugged. The boss interrupts my hearthstone and they take forever to kill me.
still happening. even if you get the murloc engaged, if toe knee dies too quickly, youâll get stuck fighting an immortal murloc that constantly interrupts your heartstone.

This just happened to me, still not fixed.
it probably wonât be fixed⌠outgearing/outleveling content isnât a bug.
if scripted fights glitch due to mobs dying too fast, youâll need to work around it.

While I appreciate what youâre saying, the encounter glitching out and being unable to complete is still a bug. Out-gearing the encounter is what triggers it.
Yes, itâs easy to work around it, but donât claim it isnât a bug.
Experiencing the same bug myself and yes its annoying, but just FYI, thereâs an easier way to leave the dungeon than trying to hearth or alt-f4-ing.
Open your group finder and start a group, any group, then immediately âleave party.â You will get the 60 second timer to be teleported to the nearest graveyard which is conveniently located right outside Kara.
At least this way its easy to reset and try again. And this technique of course works for many similar situations in other instances.
This encounter is STILL broken, and yes it is broken. No other encounter has broken like this in the past.
Took off gear until I dropped below 200ilvl and it worked just fine. Might be doable with something a bit more, however 200 is safe at least.
Honestly just take it slow and auto attack.
It is still funny seeing people still not understand that.
Messed with it again. Trick is to not one shot him. Bring him to 50% so he resets like heâs supposed to. If you bring him down to 0 it messes with the scripting, I guess.

Still bugged. Just accidentally 1-shot him today and now weâre stuck in the encounter and have to hearth.
just happened to me, glad Iâm a hunter so I can reset. The trick is to remove your weapon, punch Toe until heâs at 50%, stop and hold until the murlock unlocks then pick up your weapon and kill them all.

Foam Sword should allow damaging him without killing him to avoid this, right? It canât ever land a killing blow.
No. The toy âSoft Foam Swordâ does not function in this encounter. Customer support says take the problem to the forum. OK.
